Historic West End is Atlanta's oldest neighborhood and holds significant historical and cultural value. It was once a thriving community known as the "Harlem of the South". During the era of segregation, the neighborhood became a center for black professionals, entrepreneurs, and artists.

Vine City is one of Atlanta's oldest black neighborhoods. During the Civil Rights Movement, Vine City became a focal point for activism and leadership. The neighborhood served as a base for organizing peaceful protests and advocating for racial equality.

Originally established in the mid-19th century, Castleberry Hill has gone through periods of decline and revitalization, ultimately becoming a thriving arts and cultural district. The neighborhood is home to a diverse community of artists, designers, and entrepreneurs who have transformed the area into a hub for creativity.

During the early 20th century, Sweet Auburn Avenue thrived as a vibrant center of black business, commerce, and culture. It was home to numerous black-owned businesses, including banks, theaters, nightclubs, and churches. The avenue became known as the "richest Negro street in the world." One of the most prominent figures associated with Sweet Auburn Avenue is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
