We had a great tour with Henry. We were lucky enough to have a private tour in a comfortable car. The plantations were amazing, although we didn't get to spend much time inside the houses due to time constraints. We did get to tour the grounds and see slave quarters, carriage houses, beautiful gardens, and of course, magnolia trees, which he had a story about. We learned how they lived back then. All of the houses are pretty close together, so we didn't spend a lot of time traveling to them. Henry spoke to us about history, all the way back to ancient times, and it was so interesting, and we learned so much. Our dinner was at a restaurant that served Southern food and was really good. I highly recommend this tour and hope you get to experience the knowledge and hospitality that Henry brings to the tour.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and couldn't have done a better job. We give him a 10 out of 10. I wish all tour guides were like him.
Enjoyed the tour very much. Actually being able to see and experience the plantation life was eye opening.
Excellent experience. Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Topping off with an excellent meal at a Michelin rated restaurant was a wonderful surprise ending. Highly recommend this tour.
Enjoyed the tour very much. The convertible was a very comfortable ride and the weather was perfect for this mode of transportation. Henry was friendly and professional, and seemed very knowledgeable about Atlanta and its history.
