Very quiet in July so super quick to buy tickets and get to the top. Great views, got lucky with a very clear day.
You may not buy the Normal Ticket because otherwise you are passed nonstop by visitors with tickets without waiting!!! so that as with us on 26.12 the visit including 3 hours waiting comes loose to a total of 4 hours you have to wait!
Good to say you’ve been there and done that but expensive for the experience. We went to the very top and to be perfectly honest, there wasn’t very much to see apart from other buildings. We had better photos from the fountain outside when the building lit up in the evening.

First, the directions to get to the entrance area are not clear. You need to go to the lower level of the Dubai Mall where the food court is. You should allow a good 30 minutes to navigate parking and locating the entrance are. We had a 1pm appt. Unfortunately our daughter got sick right as we got to the mall. So I took her back to the hotel. Then a few of our family members went. We were able to get our 1pm time slot changed to 2:45pm. I would suggest cooling the waiting areas more. It gets hot and crowded where everyone waits, especially the elevator. The views are cool. You can definitely see the development they are doing in Dubai from up above. Its worth seeing. I would allot 2-3 hours including waiting and departing time.

I visited the Burj Khalifa on a tour that took us to the top levels. We started at level 148 and worked our way up to 125 and 124. The views from the top were incredible! thankyou team holidayys

The views are amazing from Level 148. However, the queueing and ticketing leaves a lot to be desired. Even with pre-paid tickets there’s one queue which snaked around the corner. You just need to be cheeky and speak to the chap directing the queue. The trip up in the elevator was very good but they cram as many people into the lift as possible. The views at night are great. They take your photo using a green screen and get you to do different poses. Unless you have deep pockets I would suggest you DO NOT buy these photos. They cost 500 AED or £103 for TWO PHOTOS. They come in a nice folder but that is extortionate. Just go with your own selfies. Be careful with your timings, I went at 7pm on a Friday evening and it was extremely busy. I’ve done it now, so if I return to Dubai I wouldn’t do it again.

Access to the top of the Burj Khalifa is through the interior of the Dubai Mall. The value is differentiated for the three levels of observation floors. As I went in the morning, the floor that was available was 124, to go to 148 was only late in the afternoon, but much more expensive, but even on the 124th floor is already a quite considerable height and you can see the entire city of Dubai. The place is safe, has a souvenir shop and photographers inside the store, they are very persuasive and the photos are quite expensive, 150 AED each, I ended up getting the 11 photos, it's a pity not to buy, but the tip remains. In addition it is beautiful to see the city from above with its tall buildings below us.
This is definitely a can't miss experience when in Dubai. Beautiful view and no need to wait in the big lines with this pass. It was a bit tricky to find the entrance, but just follow the signs. Highly recommended!
