Excellent morning out. Good pre trip communication and the clean, modern car with driver and guide arrived at the 6.30 agreed time. Brief trip to the high dam then onto the main stop which was Philae temple. I loved this, helped by the early start which avoided the crowds initially, although it had filled up when we left. My guide Omar had perfect English and was informative to just the right level of detail. There was a generous free time allowance for private wandering and photos which rounded off the visit. Lastly was the unfinished obelisk which was again informative. Thoroughly recommended trip. I would suggest 6.30 latest as the start to avoid the crowds initially.

I thought the high dam may be one to pass, but Samy really amazed my group with ALL of the details and kept us engaged. It was fascinating, not to be missed. Then Philea Temple - how beautiful! We had booked Samy the previous day, so trusted him as our guide once again. He couldn't have done more. Michael was very professional and kept in touch: this is imperative so you have full details of pick-up etc beforehand and I trusted his choices. I felt safe and they over-delivered.

Thanks to our driver Hany (who drove us for the trip to Abu Simbel) who contacted the company to book for us the tour, we managed to visit the temple with our guide Aida. She was so nice to us, she knew everything about the temple and and answered all of our questions ( and they were a lot). Strongly recommend!
Michael is a fantastic and enthusiastic guide. We booked a second tour thru a Egypt est travel to see the Nubian village as we were so impressed with him and his knowledge of Egypt. His English is flawless (he is an ex English teacher).
It was an absolute joy to spend a few hours with michael. We visited the high dam, Philea temple, and Nubian village. Not only is michael a flexible and friendly person, his knowledge of Egyptian history is off the charts. He is an encyclopedia. Awesome man and awesome tour. Definitely recommend.
Excellent service and excellent tour guide. Micheal was our tour guide and his English was fantastic. He was also very funny and incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian and Nubian history. We wished we could have changed all our future tours that were already booked to him. He also kept both my teenage boys highly engaged with his history knowledge.
