Please expect a WhatsApp message or a phone call from us! If we are not able to reach you an email will be sent for confirmation. If you are staying in Lixouri and you wish to attend this excursion pick up is at Argostoli Port. For this tour, pick-up service is not available from the villages of Agia Efimia, Sami, Fiscardo, and Assos due to their location outside our designated pick-up zones.

We had an excellent day. Picked up at Argostoli Port on Sunday morning outside Coffee Break. Our guide Maria was fantastic - very knowledgable, nothing too much trouble & our driver Makis - his driving skills on those hairpin bends is excellent. Our 1st stop was to Mellisani Cave..all I can say is WOW! The oarsman was a proper character - serenading his passengers There's 22 steps down to the cave, and then a slope down to the water ( it's not slippy at all as is carpeted) - yesterday it was 38' but down in the cave it was a lovely 18' - you pay €10pp entrance fee into the cave (€5 under 18s) ( if paying cash the guide will collect the money on the bus & if paying by card you can do that at the ticket office) You have around 10mins on a boat going into the cave under the stalagtites - the oarsman will tell you all about the history of the cave..well worth it. On our drive to our next stop Makis pulled into a viewing spot above the famous Myrtos beach so we had a great photo opp there. Next stop was Fiskárdo - a stunning fishing village with plenty of photo opportunities, plenty of tavernas & cafes to stop at - lots of lovely shops too if you like your shopping. There's a bakery called Tselente - owner is a bit of a character but their pastries/donuts are amazing. Last stop was the tiny Ássos - again, absolutely stunning..honestly if I hadn't seen these places with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed they were real. Maria told us all about the history of Kefaloniá, the island's food, & snippets of information about the villages we went through. Excellent tour - definitely one not to miss out on, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful experience, from the morning pick up at our hotel until the drop off , the whole trip was superb. We did the Assos & Fiscardo trip and had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Wendy, was fantastic—she shared so many interesting stories and made each stop even more enjoyable with her knowledge and enthusiasm. There are so many tours to choose from on Kefalonia but this one offered great value for money and visited some of the most wellk own and picturesque sites. Our guide, D, was borh very knowledgeable about the history of the island covering information on history, culture,nature, etc and she obviously has a genuine love and respect for the island and its warm and friendly people. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this tour. The views from the coach were breathtaking at times. A special mention for the driver, Makis, who negotiated some very tricky roads, fantastically.

Wendy was an excellent tour guide, full of knowledge about Kefalonia. I particularly appreciated hearing about the parallels with Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and the real-life story of the Acqui Division. Pics of some of the Italian soldiers from the museum in Argostoli rather than the tour. Highlights were the cave and lunch at Parnassus in Fiskardo was a great recommendation. Good value for money and great service as was the case for the whole tour. It was about eight hours door to door and included three stops.

Excellent tour enhanced by the lovely Wendy who was great guide. I've been on so many tours where very little information is given but her wonderful stories gave background to the stops making for a very informative and fulfilling tour

Our trip with Kefalonia Excursions was wonderful! We booked with Georgia in the Argostoli office last minute and she was able to give us a package so we could do everything we wanted including boat trips and beach visits. I injured my foot a few days before the trip and Georgia was so helpful and reassured us that we could adapt the trip to make sure I could still take part. Highly recommended this trip if you are only in Kefalonia for a short amount of time - you’ll get a flavour of the whole island!
