This was a great tour to go on to see the Asian side of Instanbul. Our tour guide Emre was great and not only showed us the main sites, but as we had some additional time showed us great place to eat lunch and also identified a cafe to get a traditional Turkish desert and coffee. Highly recommend this tour and Emre as the guide.
I was fortunate enough to book this tour with Magic Way Travel. The guide was knowledgeable, attentive, patient and kind. The mosque is the largest in Türkiye and the nearby tower gives spectacular 360 degree views of İstanbul. There is a restaurant in the tower, which requires a booking to access. Bookings can be made on site. The walk through Üsküdar that was part of the tour was enjoyable and the guide gave valuable tips on restaurants and where to access affordable shops. We had a delicious fish lunch and crossed back over to the European side of Istanbul via ferry to avoid the hectic Friday afternoon traffic. I was so pleased with the excellent service that I immediately booked a second tour. But that’s a story for another day. Suffice it to say that tour was also of excellent quality and service. Don’t hesitate to book through Magic Way Travel. It’s value for money and your time will be well spent. This is the third time I have visited Istanbul and I can say with confidence that this is the best tour company I have dealt with.
Guide also driver was neat on time and has shown us on the Asian side of Istanbul the largest mosque very extensively, both from outside and inside on 1st floor as ground floor. Shoes should be stored in special cabinets and women should cover their hair with disposable scarves. No shorts allowed. Guide gave extensive explanations. Few people there so no big crowds like at Haja Sophia. Then walked to adjacent cafe for coffee/tea on cost guide. We did not go to the tower at our request because it was gray and rainy. Walked up for a view of European part Istanbul. Then after half driving to market where we walked around quietly and had a meal at the expense of the guide. Then drove another half hour to the coast for viewpoint on water overlooking European part of Istanbul and in water tower Kiz Kulesi Karsisi Minderler. At the viewpoint also walked around for an hour to enjoy the view all at a leisurely pace with lots of explanations vsn the guide. Then we drove back to our hotel Point hotel Taksim in Istanbul. In short, this excursion is a must to see another part of Istanbul.
It is the biggest mosque in Turkey. It's size is magnificent, beautifully crafted inside with Quranic verses and located on the top of the hill to overlook the city. Truly amazing!
We had an incredible experience exploring the Asian side of Istanbul with Yesin as our guide! He was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable, making sure we were comfortable and engaged the entire time. His passion for sharing the culture and history really made the tour special and unforgettable. We highly recommend Yesin to anyone looking for a top-notch guide in Istanbul!
Seeing the mosque and doing the museum tour as a bonus, but going up Camlica hill and getting a panoramic view of the city was amazing. The mosque was absolutely beautiful and so much history in the museum about Islam and also the Ottoman Empire. Our tour guide was so great and happily answered all the questions fired at him.
This was a fantastic tour from our hotel in the old city to the Grand Mosque and the regions around this part of Türkiye. Ot is complex to get there by public transport so decided to treat ourselves. Yasim our driver was delightful, knowledgeable and flexible. We decided not to go to the tower and this was not a problem. Though not cheap this tour was well worth it.
