Ascoli Olive Oil Tour with Tasting and Local Food Pairing

Very educational, fascinating and full of passion! From the olive to the liquid gold in the bottle, everything is explained with appropriate pride . No question remained unanswered. The quiz is very enlightening. To top it off, a delicious buffet with a unique dessert.

I don't want to miss this experience! Very informative and interestingly designed. Got a lot of background knowledge. Can only recommend it.

Very nice to learn more about olive oil (the whole production process) and taste the differences. Then a joint lunch with of course the necessary olive oil from our own production and many local products. Very nice, tasty and almost full-day program. The daughter talks with a lot of passion about the family business and their “golden” product and the enthusiasm of the daughter and both her parents is extremely contagious; they are really proud of all the good that Italy has to offer and of their own products. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region!!

This tour knocked us completely out of our socks - without much expectation we arrived and were invited directly for coffee. The tour with Chiara was totally insightful and super instructive, you can notice strongly that the family history goes back a long way and everyone craves it! The olive oil tasting and the snack afterwards were even better than anything we thought - Chiara and her family have all the qualifications and competencies they are also trying to pass on in a short time!

This wasn’t just a tasting it was like being welcomed into a big, warm Italian hug. The family who runs the estate (three generations strong!) greeted us with genuine warmth, shared stories of their olive oil tradition, and guided us through a flavorful tasting of their incredible oils. What made it unforgettable? After the tasting, they cooked us a homemade lunch with fresh cheese, pizza and cold cuts, and plenty of their olive oil, of course. We ate and laughed, and felt like part of the family. If you’re anywhere nearby, don’t miss this experience. It’s delicious, authentic, and full of heart.

Father and daughter talk enthusiastically and passionately about how they make olive oil past and present. We were allowed to taste and ended the activity with a delicious lunch. Worth going here sometime. And of course also buy some bottles of olive oil.

My family has always purchased Fratoni oil, I highly recommend it, in particular the Ascoli Tenere olive oil.

It was a wonderful experience. We arrived 15 minutes early but for some reason, Tripadvisor had not notified them. Apparently this was not the first time this happened to them Nonetheless, they quickly improvised and gave us a full tasting explaining the diferent qualities of oil and how it was made. He also provided us with food samplings as well as a little wine to go. At the end he gave us a litlle certificate to say we completed our oil tasting course. The owner was very friendly and we bought some of his products. We would visit him again. We highly recommend this tour.

Valentino and his family were absolutely most welcoming! Valentino was an expert at the olive oil process, tasting walk through!
