Rayed this a 5 of 5 due to our guide. It was easy to book and fun to kayak to the island. However, the only glass we saw was small pieces of green beer bottles.
This tour was absolutely worth it; we would do it again in a heartbeat. From start to finish, everything was well organized and thoughtfully planned. The glass-bottom kayak made it easy to see the ocean floor when the water was shallow, which was such a unique and interesting experience. Our guide was fantastic, friendly, helpful, and very personable. He made sure we were comfortable navigating the kayak, explained how to use the oars, and kept the experience fun and easygoing. He pointed out wildlife along the way (we even saw turtles!), shared interesting history about the island and mangroves, and gave great local dining recommendations. He also took photos for us throughout the tour, which was such a nice bonus. To top it off, we were treated to chilled iced tea and fresh fruit at the end, such a thoughtful touch. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing way to experience the ocean and see Aruba from a different perspective, we highly recommend this tour and guide.
I will tell you that it would have been a great experience if the wave and swells were not over your head. Our kayak took on a lot of water to the point we thought we were going to go under… my husband is a navy guy and he was extremely nervous. Our tour guide was awesome but was probably not a good day to go out!!! Just glad we made it back we made it back to sure…
It’s a pretty easy paddle. The water is so beautiful and the scenery is amazing. We had a very small group so basically got a personal tour.
This was a great experience! My husband and I did this and it was just us and one other couple. The path we took along the coast and around the mangroves was so beautiful. We even saw two sea turtles! Our guide, Zenon, walked us through some preliminaries about kayaking and made sure everyone was comfortable. He was so friendly and personable, and was knowledgeable about the environment we kayaked through. After the tour, we were treated to fresh fruit and drinks and got to see some iguanas eating the fruit rinds. Our guide took pics during the trip and sent them to us afterwards so we didn't have to take our own pics and could just enjoy the tour. Can't recommend this experience highly enough!
This was a fun excursion! We learned a lot about the flora and fauna and history of Aruba. Zenon was a fantastic guide!
We had a great time with the guys! The water was beautiful! Would love to go again and will bring the family when we come back.
Great experience and lots of fun. I found a few treasures. So much glass on the island will have to go back again in the future.
What a great experience Zenon our tour guide was super and even had fresh fruit from his own mango tree brought from home. Highly recommended
Had a great time. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The mangroves was really not what i expected to see but we really just booked the trip for the kayaking experience. I would highly recommend.
