You will cross the April 25th Bridge, which resembles the Golden Gate Bridge. This impressive and scenic suspension bridge connects the northern and southern sides of Lisbon. It was named in honor of the revolution that took place on April 25th, 1974, which ended the Salazar dictatorship.
The Azulejos de Azeitão workshop employs traditional European tile-making techniques and recreates antique designs from not only European countries but also Islamic and Chinese cultures. Here, you can explore flat hand-painted tiles as well as relief tiles featuring various color glazes, inspired by 16th-century Hispano-Moorish tiles. This workshop is one of the most renowned in the southern region of Lisbon.
You will explore the Arrábida UNESCO Park, a renowned protected area home to many unique Mediterranean plants, including olives, pistachios, strawberries, lavender, thyme, and chamomile. We will drive along the Atlantic coast, stopping at several points to enjoy breathtaking views of amazing beaches and azure waters.
Take a look at the Convento da Arrábida (Arrábida Monastery), which was founded in 1542 by Friar Martinho de Santa Maria, a Castilian Franciscan. This remarkable building is entirely isolated in the mountains.
Quinta de Catralvos is a family-owned winery that offers stunning views of its vineyards. Here, you can enjoy local wines and appetizers while being guided through the winery and cellars. You will learn about the entire wine production process, from the vine to the glass.
In the heart of Sesimbra, you can visit Santiago Fortress (Fortaleza de Santiago), which was part of Portugal’s coastal defenses and served as a summer retreat for Portuguese kings.
Experience the beautiful California beach with its soft, fine sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters.
Relax at the serene Ouro Beach, known for its soft, fine sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters.
You’ll have the opportunity to stop and explore Sesimbra, a charming fishing village on the Atlantic coast. Sesimbra is situated around a bay, surrounded by towering cliffs, turquoise waters, beautiful sandy beaches, and exceptional seafood—all of which is consistently delicious. In the town center, you'll find narrow streets lined with terracotta-roofed houses and a picturesque promenade adorned with palm trees.
Jose Maria da Fonseca is a family-owned winery that has been operating for nearly 200 years, having been established in 1834 by six generations of the same family. The guided visit begins in the owner's house and continues through the ancient wine cellars. Some of the wines you will discover here are over 100 years old. At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste some of their exceptional wines.
The site of the Christ the King Statue (Cristo Rei) offers the best viewpoint of Lisbon. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the city and the Tagus River. Inspired by the statue in Brazil, this monument was erected in 1959 to express gratitude to God for sparing Portugal from the horrors of World War II. There is an entrance fee to go up to the statue, but the view from the bottom is quite similar.
You will cross the April 25th Bridge, which resembles the Golden Gate Bridge. This impressive and scenic suspension bridge connects the northern and southern sides of Lisbon. It was named in honor of the revolution that took place on April 25th, 1974, which ended the Salazar dictatorship.

We had a great trip with Carolina!!! We hit a good bit of morning traffic and she extended our day to make sure we didn't miss a thing! Highly recommend!
When you read reviews you don’t really get a sense of the tour company. I wish we’d had tours with Lisbon Riders - and our guide Kat! - earlier on in our visit because we would have booked all our tours with them! They were excellent. Our guide Kat was incredible- so knowledgeable, fun, easy going, and we had such a great day.
Miguel was very knowledgeable and personable. He made an effort to get to know everyone in the group and make it a fun day. The tile factory was impressive and the wines were very good.
Had an absolutely phenomenal day! When you book these things online in a foreign country, you never know what to expect, but this tour exceeded our expectations - we had so much fun, and our tour guide made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
Carolina was a wonderful guide offering recommendations, answering questions, and being a photographer. This tour was a great relaxing way to get out of the city and explore more of the area.
The van bus was comfortable. Our guide Carolina was very responsive. The 2 wineries visited were very different of each other. We recommend this tour.
Lili was a fantastic tour guide! She was super knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. She gave great recommendations for other sites and food to check out also. Such a fun time, I would highly recommend!!
Lilliana was our guide and she was wonderful! She was informative and friendly. The tile factory was interesting and unique. The first winery was generous with their time and wine! We lil ed visiting Sesimbra and eating the fresh caught seafood. We would go on this tour again.
Love the 2 wine tasting experience. Tania and Caterina had been very caring. They provided us with all the useful information. You feel like hanging out with friends rather than being in a tour! Thank you for the lovely day.
One of the best tours I have ever been on. Tanya was amazing! So knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The wine tastings were informative and fun. Was able to take loads of pictures of beautiful vistas. Tile factory and lunch stop were also excellent. Was with a great group of people. I would highly recommend.
