Itinerary

Pass by

Accompanied by one of our tour guides we first cycle from the office along the boulevard to the harbour of Argostoli. We might see some impressive Careta Careta turtles on our way to the forest.

10 min

We continue the cycling and after 20 minutes we will arrive at Katavothres, the Sinkholes of Argostoli, a unique geological phenomenon.

40 min

Because our stomachs are starting to growl, we hop on our bikes and continue on to our first food stop in Lassi, where we have our starter dish at one of the best local taverns.

10 min

As the sun sets in a spectacular display, we pedal toward Argostoli’s finest seaside fish restaurant—but not before pausing at the romantic and picture-perfect circular Saint Theodore Lighthouse.

60 min

Here’s the main course—choose from fish, meat, or a vegetarian option, perfectly paired with a glass of wine, beer, or a refreshing soft drink.

15 min

Time to gently ride it off as we make our way to the sweetest finale: irresistibly creamy, freshly scooped Italian gelato in any flavor you desire. All good things must come to an end when we return to the starting point downtown Argostoli.

A great adventure

A great adventure on e-bikes. Quite tough going on the hills, some of the bikes had more power than others. Lovely stop at the Olive Farm with Marina. Albert was a great guide and very encouraging.

Operator response

It was great to have you guys here and to share all the beauty Kefalonia has to offer. Hope to seeing you back one day.

Memorable e-bike tour with exceptional olive oil tasting experience!

We’re two 74-year-old Americans with some e-bike experience. Several months ago, we booked this Kefalonia e-bike tour without prior knowledge of the island or Albert and his team. Upon arriving in Kefalonia a week before our tour, we were taken aback by the many narrow and busy streets, prompting concerns about our safety during the ride. Albert’s pre-tour texts alleviated some of our fears regarding potential encounters with vehicles. What we discovered was Albert’s exceptional expertise in selecting safe routes and his guiding skills, which made the experience enjoyable. Despite the unexpected thunderstorm(!), we thoroughly enjoyed the unique and informative adventure. The farm tour was initially planned to include a visit to a honeybee farm. Unfortunately, the honeybees had been relocated to higher elevations for the season (mid-September). Instead, we visited a local farmer’s market and then went to a family-owned olive oil mill called Taste Kefalonia. Marina, one of the family owners, provided an insightful explanation of the production process and offered samples of their olive oil, along with delicious Greek country bread, feta cheese, and tomatoes. Everything was delicious. Albert proved to be a delightful companion throughout the tour, enhancing our overall experience.
