Itinerary
Know as the "white city" Liberia is the capital of Guanacaste and the main city in the North Pacific side of the country.
Café Macadamia is the best restaurant in Arenal Volcano lake. People from all over Costa Rica and from around the world travel to this place to taste the amazing food with the best view of the Arenal Volcano Lake. In here we will have breakfast
Lake Arenal sits at the base of the Arenal Volcano in the northern highlands of Costa Rica. It is the country’s largest landlocked body of water, with a surface that covers nearly 33 square miles (85 square km) and a depth that reaches some 200 feet (60 m). In 1979, Lake Arenal was enlarged to three times its original size with the construction of a hydroelectric dam. The towns of Arenal and Tondadora, which were originally sited on the spot where the lake now rests, were relocated to the northeastern side of the lake. Nowadays, Lake Arenal’s dam is hugely important to the country, as it produces nearly 12% of Costa Rica’s electric energy.
A short walk will introduce you to the interactions of the rainforest and the hanging bridges will show you a different view of the area.
After lunch, the hot mineral springs will give you the opportunity to relax.

Alexander was very knowledgeable and very informative. We had a great time! The food was also very delicious.
My husband and I had an amazing experience. Alexander was extremely knowledgeable and was extremely accommodating.
We had an amazing experience. Our guide, Gio, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and personable. He went above and beyond with the entire group. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the hanging bridges. We were lucky to see most of Arenal as well! Breakfast and lunch were great. The trip was long from our hotel but that was expected. The stops along the way for breakfast and other activities helped break up the time. We would recommend this excursion!
The tour guide Juan and the driver Rudy were amazing!! I learned a lot and relaxed in the amazing hot springs. I would 100% recommend
We had a great time seeing the rainforest and visiting the hot springs.
It's a fabulous day trip. You should probably take a poncho or wear a waterproof coat in case it rains. Be prepared to walk a lot. I did 15,800 steps that day.
The experience was incredibly well organized, with delicious food and an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife and captured beautiful photos and videos throughout. I highly recommend it!
our tour guide JUAN was wonderful and two of our best meals were on the tour day! everything went smoothly from the pick up to our drop off. thank you.
Juan was a fabulous tour guide with an abundance of knowledge of the rainforest, volcano, and Costa Rica in general. Overall an amazing experience and great food too!
Such a great day! While driving to Arenal Volcano, our guide Daniel, shared information about Costa Rica. We stopped for breakfast and had a wonderful traditional breakfast with an excellent view of Lake Arenal. We drove on to visit the hanging bridges. There we saw snake, bats, birds, and got to walk 3 bridges. We then went to the Hot Springs and relaxed in a beautiful setting. We then went on to have lunch right at the base of the volcano. Such a beautiful area. The tour was excellent and our guide Danial was as well!
