Great Story Teller

Warren was phenomenal. He was a great story teller, keeping us engaged all day. He was able to curtail the tour to our needs. Will return to Moab just to do more tours with Navtech and Warren.

Pictures can’t do it justice!!

This convoy expedition was phenomenal! Pictures don’t do it justice, but I’ve added some. The off roading was so fun and definitely safer than I thought. My favorite part was learning the history of Canyonlands and seeing the Eye of the Whale in the Arches park. So great!!

Amazing tour of Arches & Canyonland

Our guide, Andrew, was the best! In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable, and having serious driving skill, he’s very kind and thoughtful. We required a bit more assistance and he didn’t hesitate to help out. And for those who wonder about what type of lunch is provided, it was delicious! Chicken Caesar salad wraps, sliced apple, a cookie and additional snacks if you wanted them. And they set up this nice hand washing station too. Pretty sweet. And yes, the scenery is amazing and he will take you to locations you would never reach on your own! Highly recommend this. Thanks again Andrew!

Canyonlands White Rim Trail.

We did both Canyonlands and Arches. I had expressed wanting the White Rim Trail. NavTec did not disappoint. The Arches. It was everything I wanted and more. Able was a fantastic Guide and Driver. She is also a great salad Chef.

Operator response

Thank you so much for the kind words and for choosing Navtec Expeditions for your Moab adventure! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a memorable experience with Abbey. Her knowledge of the region’s geology, archaeology, and history—combined with those legendary mom jokes—makes her a favorite among both guests and our team. We’re especially glad your group felt well taken care of and enjoyed exploring both parks together. Moab is an incredible place, and we love helping guests experience it in a deeper and more personal way. We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you back to canyon country again someday!

This was a decent tour,...

This was a decent tour, but I feel like the description really needs to address the fact that this is 75% backcountry and a VERY rough & bumpy ride. I knew that it might be a bit bumpy, but was not prepared. If anyone has any issues, such as bad back, I think that they'd want to know that in advance. There was a lot of dead time spent driving between each stop and I felt that the guide wasn't prepared enough and didn't narrate like we've had before. We've been on many, many all day tours and this definitely ranks as one of the worst. I just think people ought to really know what is in store for them, just in case they physically couldn't handle the 9 hours.

Operator response

Lynette, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience did not meet your expectations. Our backcountry Arches tours are intentionally designed as rugged overland adventures that access remote areas of the park inaccessible to standard sightseeing vehicles. The terrain can be rough and physically demanding at times, and we appreciate your suggestion that we communicate that more clearly in our tour descriptions for future guests—especially for travelers with back or mobility concerns. We’re also disappointed to hear that the guiding and narration did not reflect the level of experience we aim to provide. A knowledgeable and engaging guide is an important part of the Navtec experience, and your comments have been shared internally with our team for review and improvement. While this style of expedition travel is not the right fit for every traveler, we genuinely appreciate the candid feedback as we continue refining both our guest communication and overall experience. Thank you again for joining us during your time in Moab.

Navtech Tours of National Parks in Moab, Utah

NAVTEC Expeditions may be expensive, but it was absolutely a good value for the money. The tour took us to areas in Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park that we never would have been able to see by car or on foot. Our guide, Andy, shared so much geological information and local history throughout the tour, which added tremendously to the overall experience. The vehicles were clean, and the staff was extremely helpful, professional, and polite. It was a memorable and worthwhile adventure.
