AquaRio Small Group Guided Tour with entrance and transfer

Description
We invite you to visit AquaRio, the largest aquarium in Latin America. Located in the Zona Portuária (Port Zone), the aquarium occupies a former cold-storage warehouse in an area that spreads over four floors and a basement. It is home to 8,000 animals of 350 different species, including sharks, sting rays and fish. Part of the proceeds of the AquaRio goes to research programs in Brazil focused on marine biology, environmental issues and sustainability. This is a memorable experience for the entire family! Roundtrip transfer, tour guide and tickets to the AquaRio included.

Itinerary
During the tour, we can take pictures (no flash, please) in areas such as the Recinto Oceânico e de Mergulho (Oceanic and Diving Enclosure), the largest tank in the Aquarium holding up to 3.3 million liters of water and seven meters in depth. At the same time, we learn a little bit more about aquamarine life and the impact of our actions in their ecosystem. Close to the end of the tour, we pass underneath a tunnel and see the underwater above us, which gives a unique feeling.
Created for the 2016 Olympic Games, the Olympic Boulevard has attracted the attention of grafitti artists around the globe. Stroll around to see the biggest grafitti in the world: the Mural das Etnias by Kobra.

The aquarium is fantastic. There are lots of activities for kids. We enjoyed the tour. Our guide was Marco and he shared a lot of local history and information as we drove to/from the aquarium. We added on the Ferris wheel ride at his suggestion and the view was great.
My visit to the aquarium in Rio de Janeiro was an incredible experience. I loved the variety of marine species I could see, from colorful fish to sharks and rays. There was also an impressive collection of algae, conchs and other marine invertebrates. The atmosphere is impressive and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about marine life and felt like I was at the bottom of the sea, and the place has a restaurant for lunch and areas to buy drinks and snacks. Recommended!
The tour guide Marco was super, a really nice guy and he was so helpful. He organised tickets for us to go on the Yup Star too. The aquarium had lots of displays and it was really interesting.
For what you offer there, and also read on the net, it is a bitter disappointment. The entrance fee for 2 perons is already 320 real, which is usury. Even if it is just under €50 in euros, what is offered there is just not as nice as it is written. There I know other cities (Toronto) where the Aqua Rio is far behind and also offers more than in the Aqua Rio. Not worth the money. Not only was there not even a plant to be found in the aquariums, many tanks were taped with pictures, and the tunnel, I beg you, is mini. The light was too dark in many places, and a roaring teacher with a microphone also ran away with 20 children, not very pleasant. The cymbals are way too small for me. Many corners had no basin at all, but there were only walls with pictures. What this has to do with an aquarium is not really obvious to me. Many fish species were not visible at all. You have to go up in an elevator, which made us stucco. Aquariums are actually downstairs. Not a single plant was found in the parts. Whether this is species-appropriate is arguable. The Aqua Rio is not impressive. Others give away more, for much less money. No, not recommended, just a waste of money.
One day of knowledge, fish species that you don't see in Colombia I came to meet in Rio de Janeiro, to take the children is ideal
My family and I had the pleasure of having Monica as our tour guide. Monica was amazing. She was full of knowledge and very personable. The tour itself was great and lasted about 6 hours. It commensed at AquaRio and ended at the Real Gabinete Português de Leitura with other great exhibits in between such as the Musuem of Tommorow and Mosteiro de São Bento 100% recommend this experience when in Rio!
Very good aquarium. Not so the "Sea of Mirrors": expensive and also do not allow to take photos in the last room, which is the most interesting, and on top of that they charge apart those photos.
The bad thing is the price, as it is quite expensive for a tour that can be done in half an hour. In addition to this the other attractions are paid separately. It is a place to go with the children as they quite enjoy the place and there are some people who tell about the species they have in the aquarium. The place is pretty nice. I recommend going early so that you can take pictures without so many people in the tunnel, which is the best thing about the aquarium.
Very interactive the visit, I really enjoyed sharing with people of other nationalities and know the culture of Brazil very good the tour
