1 hour Aquaduck city and river tour. Departing from the heart of Surfers Paradise, tours aboard the amphibious ‘Aquaduck’ combine an informative city-tour with a unique and exciting river-cruise. Travelling past the glitzy waterfront mansions of the rich and famous and taking in the spectacular views of the Gold Coast waterways and its famous landmarks. FOC infants (0-1yrs) must be pre-booked on the Aquaduck due to regulations and passenger number restrictions. Please note that we do not have storage for prams and large bags on board or at our departure point. Kindly leave them in your car or hotel room.

One of the most internationally recognisable icons on the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise, has always been an entertainment playground with a social scene for the most social of socialites. The three-kilometre strip of golden sand between Surfers Paradise and the Pacific Ocean is Australia's iconic beach, a postcard-perfect locale that conjures up 'paradise' to millions.
While other suburbs snatch their names from exotic Aboriginal meanings or English seaside villages, Main Beach is far more literal. Situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast, Main Beach was so named as it was the main surf beach to the town of Southport. But while its name may be obvious, its hidden gems are far more exciting for this is one of the coast's areas which celebrates something old and something new in style.

It's a good giggle. The 2 hosts were light hearted friendly but safety conscious. My only gripe is they allowed the kids to pilot the aqueduct in the water and I wasn't allowed. Hmmfff. :-)

We booked the entire Duck for our group of 30 for a social outing and it was a nice bonus to get a discounted rate for a group. Our Aquaduck Captain Jerry and guide Tracey were fantastic - very knowledgeable about the local area and were happy to answer questions and kept us laughing and entertained the entire trip. Jerry was fantastic with the kids in the group - giving them each a turn to drive the Duck and Tracey had a certificate for each of them as well. As a Gold Coast local for over 25 years - I had never been on the Duck - but I very much enjoyed the outing and would happily recommend locals and visitors alike give it a try.

It was nice. The driver and host were humorous. Danny was especially great. I was having a hard time catching my breath after walking to the pick up location and he let me board the bus early and even offered me his personal water bottle. I was very grateful. All in all was nice. They let the kids sit in the driver’s seat and I thought that was very cool and the kids seemed to enjoy it.
