Itinerary
Start your day with an 8:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap. From there, enjoy a scenic drive to the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park.
Upon arrival, purchase your Angkor Pass and begin your adventure at Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of Khmer architecture. Constructed between 1113 and 1150 AD and originally dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, Angkor Wat is a masterpiece of design, symbolizing Mount Meru, the mythical center of the universe in Hindu cosmology.
Next, head to Angkor Thom, the great capital city established by King Jayavarman VII. Enter through the majestic South Gate, where rows of statues depicting gods and demons reenact the legendary Churning of the Sea of Milk.
Inside the city, visit the enigmatic Bayon Temple, where over 200 serene, smiling stone faces gaze down from soaring towers, representing the compassionate Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.
Continue your exploration with a walk to Ba Phuon Temple and along the Terrace of the Elephants, once used by the king for viewing ceremonies and military parades. Nearby, visit the Terrace of the Leper King, adorned with intricate carvings and steeped in royal mystery.
Conclude your journey at Ta Prohm, one of the most photogenic and atmospheric temples in the complex. Originally a Buddhist monastery and university, it was built by King Jayavarman VII in honor of his mother.
After a full day of exploration, relax on your tuk-tuk/Car back to Siem Reap. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or any central location of your choice.

Mr. Chantra was our guide, a young dynamic gentleman telling with plenty of knowledge and passion about the history of this beautiful region and the whole of Cambodia and bordering countries. Our tour through the Angkor Archaeological Park was simply perfect. While temples like Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm are incredible on their own, our guide Steven made the day truly special. He shared so much great knowledge—not just about the temples, but also about Cambodian culture and daily life. Thanks to his clever routing, we easily avoided the massive tour groups. He also pointed out nice photo spots and gave us all the time we needed without making us feel rushed. Calling us "customers" wouldn't do it justice—from minute one, it felt like exploring with a good friend. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless, too. Steven was an amazingly knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. He brought all the temple sites, images, sculptures to life with his commentary and real affection for what he was showing us. Nothing was too much trouble and the pace we went at was perfect and we newever felt under any pressure. We had the pleasure of 3 days in Siem Reap with our private guide Samun, and personal driver (Tear - think that's correct spelling), touring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples in February 2026. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Samun was incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history and made us feel safe and comfortable. He was also good company understanding and accommodating our personal needs. The attention to detail like the cold towels and chilled water bottles after spending time in the heat were always very welcome and appreciated. He also helped to capture the most stunning photos.
