See the ancient of Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom and the its most famous gate well known as Tonle Om Gate (Southern Gate). Then continue to visit other beautiful temples inside of the capital city of Angkor Thom.
Marvel at the wise, and smiling faces at Bayon Temple. It is a richly decorated Cambodia temple at Angkor Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was built late 12th century, state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist.
Baphuon is the Hindu God Shiva and it was erected mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered temple mountain.
Terrace of the Elephants is part of the walled of Angkor Thom and It was used by Angkor's king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army.
Then, we drive to Ta Prohm temple, which has been left in its original state and is partly overgrown with trees and huge roots. It was also used as a backdrop for the film Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant cooked by local chief and then visit the most authentic village"Phum Preah Dak" where you can learn how the local people make palm cake and palm sugar.
In the afternoon, start to visit to the fascinating Angkor Wat, the largest sacred building on the planet and an icon of the Khmer civilization. It was built by King Suyavarman and is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. It contains hundreds of decorations that cover the walls and the longest bas-relief in the world. It is surrounded by a giant moat, and its five towers are part of the Cambodian flag, and from the top you can see the impressive and dense jungle.
Climb up mountain of the Phnom Bakheng for sunset and then transfer you back to your hotel.
Transfer back from Bakheng Mountain to your hotel in the center of Siem Reap.

Our tour guide August was incredibly welcoming, accompanying us throughout the trip and patiently explaining the history and historical figures. I had an amazing time on the Angkor Wat small group tour with lunch and sunset included. The literary was well organized, and we visited the most iconic sites in Siem Reap including Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm temple and the Terrace of the Leper King. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared fascinating history and local stories that made each stop even meaningful. The small group made the experience relaxed and enjoyable, giving everyone plenty of time to explore and take photos . The guide provided us plenty of water and cold towels since it was a hot sunny day. No jokes. We did not end the day watching the sunset since it was too hot to stay. But we had an incredible and a memorable experience and one of the highlights of my trip. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Makara was unreal he had so much knowledge of the temples. He never rushed us at all. Our lunch was very delicious. Our driver always had icy bottles of water and cold towels ready for us.

Incredible experience. Guide Sa and driver Theara were the best. Theara always waited for us with water and cold towels, and Sa knew so much, explained everything, adapted the pace to everyone in our diverse group and overall made it the best experience. Our guide, Mr August, came to pick us up on time, in a nicely air conditioned vehicle driven by Mr. Vuta. Mr. August was very considerate of my elderly mother who needed to walk slowly and take e,tra breaks in the shade. He also made sure she had a steadying hand in and out of the van and up and down the stairs in the temples we visited. Mr. Vuta always had a nice cold washcloth for us and cold water when we returned from each temple which we appreciated very much. We were the only people on our tour, and they were flexible with our schedule, which was very nice. It's the dry season here now, so very hot. After 3 temples, my mom decided she couldn't do any more, so we returned to our hotel early, but it was a very full day and we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. Mr. August took pictures of us at the different destinations and his photography skills are excellent! The ones he took are so pretty and clear and he used multiple techniques for different effects too. If you get a chance to tour with Mr. August, you should take that opportunity!

Absolutely fascinating ! . My wife and I do like ancient history places and stories and Angkor Wat certainly fulfilled that for us . Our tour guide Mikara was extremely knowledgeable and his English speaking ability was very very good .
