A very interesting and engaging tour to discover a (important) piece of history of India, the British rule (and its black pages), culminating with a visit to the Sick temple of Amritsar, a complex of unique beauty and charm, but also a place of deep lived spirituality. In the afternoon transfer to the Indo-Pakistani border to witness a somewhat "crazy" flag-killing rite where the armies of the two countries face each other and somehow challenge each other in terms of patriotism and national pride. Among other things on the way the guide also showed us the party that accompanied a wedding that was being celebrated in the area. An important role in this experience was certainly played by our guide, Jasse Singh, the absolute best among the different we had during our stays in India: competent, knowledgeable and close to its land and its people. Also good driver, Baldev Singh, who juggled calmly, cautiously and carefully in the chaotic traffic of Amritsar. The only small drawback is not indicated in the program visit to a store for the purchase of local crafts (there could still be). If you have the opportunity, don't miss a visit to the temple of Amritsar in the evening too: magical!
