Nice to have a personal guide!

My guide Glaucio picked me up on time and was in touch with details which made everything very easy. Since I was traveling alone I wanted a guide and driver to go to the MUSA rather than go on my own which worked out very well. It was also nice to have a personal guide at the two locations! The research forest is not open everyday, so I was even able to change the day at the last minute to make sure I could see both locations. Both locations were very interesting and worth the half day trip.

What an experience! Fantastic

This was an amazing trip. Very interesting. Our guide - Erivando was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and really helped us get a better understanding of the Amazon Rainforest and its ecosystem. I travelled with my Mother, who struggles sometimes with excessive walking and he was patient and attentive ensuring that she easily kept up and enjoyed the experience just as much as myself. Erivando truly made our Amazon Adventure a special one.

Well worth doing - but not on Wednesays!

I did this tour on Wednesday 18th January. Leonardo Mendes was very helpful in arranging the trip for me, as I was coming off a cruise ship and not available until noon, but he arranged the trip to fit. I had to pay for two places as I was solo, but it would still have been worth it. Unfortunately, Leonardo's only mistake was that MUSA currently is closed every Wednesday, so I missed seeing the gardens there and climbing the rainforest overview tower. My guide Jennifer took me to the CIGS Zoo instead (which I found rather a sad place), but then onto the INPA Bosque da Ciencia as planned. I hugely enjoyed INPA, seeing the River Otters, the manatees feeding on chopped pumpkin, wild squirrel monkeys, river turtles in the Amazon Lake and some nice forest. Jennifer and our driver could not have been more helpful, and looked after me well (the driver did a great job in Manaus traffic). The trip would have been great value if MUSA had been open, but I'm sure Leonardo has learnt the lesson from that for the future. I was disappointed to miss that, and the CIGS Zoo was a poor substitute, but INPA was well worth seeing and I'd have liked a little more time there. So I recommend this tour with Amazing Tours (as long as it's not a Wednesday!!!)

Wonderful

This tour is very cool, worth visiting. It takes around 4-5 hours because the INPA is a bit away from the MUSA. So, besides the visit, there are the displacements. The driver was very friendly and punctual. I recommend this agency.
