Amazon Adventure 4 Days

Great experience. This experience allows you to experience the real amazon. We had opportunity to explore more remote parts of the jungle and live among the wild life. Our guide Eli is really dedicated to his job! I recommend this to everyone having their first experience with the jungle! Communication with Ruth is excellent.

Visiting Pacaya Samiria was an unforgettable experience, being able to see the species in their natural habitat, fully living the adventure of being in the jungle, without worries because the agency provides or assists you with whatever you need to make the experience more enjoyable.

An authentic and adventurous experience! We went to the Pacaya Samiria with Ruth, Roger (guide) and Alex (machinist and cook). The trip was just what we sought, to enter the jungle, with little infrastructure and amenities, but living a very authentic experience that allows you to connect with nature and the Amazon. We saw many animals, sailed in the park, camped, fished, found our own food, and discovered more about the flora and fauna of the region.

Ruth cares about each client, she gave me rides to hostels when needed, and helped me to organise my boat to Santa Rosa, going so far as booking it for me. Her business acumen extends to her tourguides. Special mention to Franco and Ruben who were passionate about the jungle and spotting animals, while cooking great food and ensuring we were comfortable on my 4D/3N tour.

I did 4D 3N in the jungle and it was quite the adventure with all the animals and insects you get to see. We went for walks in the jungle during the day and night, boat rides during the day and night, fished, and camped in tents under a tarp to stay nice and dry. Daniel has such a great eye for spotting animals and being so remote he makes you feel safe! It is rainy season so mosquitos are abundant but you just have to dress accordingly and wear repellent. Also, make sure you bring a nice headlight so you can spot animals at night easier. I wish I would have brought a small pair of binoculars so I could see the animals that were up in the trees better! I had a great time and there’s nothing like it!

This experience was absolutely amazing! Though it is not for the faint of heart, out of all my travels spending time out camping and exploring the amazons was one of the most toughest things i have done but beyond rewarding. My guides franco and alex did a superb job looking after us for the entire time and ensuring we saw an incredible amount of wildlife. Outside the tour, the owner Ruth also took great care of me with helping me navigate around the town when the tour was over, very warm hearted people! Highly recommend this tour!! just make sure you bring plenty of layers (and i mean layers!) of clothing to shield you from the mosquitos (they even were attacking our fingers) some repellent, and a burning repellent too!

I did a solo 4 days and 3 nights as a woman with motorista and guide. Ruth was really welcoming, the organisation was spotless. She even assisted me outside the tour. 4 days can sound long and a bit scary, I was, but honestly as soon as you start your boat trip the time stops and you just admire beauty all around. In the rainforest, I slept like a baby, I felt embraced and protected by the nature. I thought the trip would exhaust me, well total opposite occurred. I feel relaxed, rested and peaceful. The 4 days and 3 nights tour in the Amazon rainforest with Ruth Expedition was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! From the first to the last hour it was a succession of emotions, adventure and pure wonder. We explored the jungle both day and night, looking for wild animals, insects and colorful birds, canoeing between rivers immersed in the most authentic nature. Sleeping in a tent in the heart of the forest was magical: the sound of animals, the starry sky and the feeling of being completely connected to nature are something I will never forget. Special thanks go to our guide Eli, who was just fantastic! Always kind, very prepared and with an infectious enthusiasm. He was with me the whole trip, taught me a lot about the flora and fauna of the place and — most importantly — became a real friend. Despite being in the heart of the jungle, I felt 100% safe at all times thanks to his professionalism and impeccable organization of the tour. Everything was taken care of in every detail, and you could feel the genuine passion of the team for what they do. If you dream of an authentic, exciting and perfectly organized adventure in the Amazon rainforest, Ruth Expedition is the best choice you can make!
