If you're a nature lover and want to make a tiny contribution to the preservation of nature, this is the chance you've been waiting for. You also have the chance of learn the process of making handmade chocolate and you will see the cocoa bean as the main element of chocolate this is optional or if prefer to visit the beachs of Mazunte, Zipolite or San Agustinillo also this is optional, please let our guide know before you start the tour, you can only choose one of the options or none, and just focus on the release. In turtle sanctuary you will receive an interesting introduction to the behavior and breeding habits of sea turtles before helping newly hatched baby turtles make their way into the sea. You will be in contact with one of the creatures of extinction, which is the sea turtle, of which there are 5 species inhabit the Oaxacan coast, you will have the opportunity to release them into the sea, also once on the beach theres a chance to witness a beautiful sunset.

By far one of the best excursions we have experienced. Saul (Gran Turismo Huatulco) is top rate when it comes to being a tour guide! This day was not just an excursion, but an experience into the culture of locals. Sunset was breathtaking, to interact with the baby sea turtles was magical, and to be part of their release was a highlight of my past adventures. The background on why the existence of the turtle sanctuary is so important. It would be nice for the Mexican government to get involved in this endeavor. An amazing experience. Our guide Benjamin was very knowledgeable.
It's a wonderful experience to help turtles reach the sea. The work they do in this natural area is entirely for nature. Our guide Benjamin was excellent, made the tour to the place very interesting, knows a lot about the history and flora and fauna of the region. I will definitely repeat it

The tour isn’t exactly as described as there is not an iguanario or chocolate involved in the tour, but that was totally okay with us because this tour is mainly about the sea turtle release, nature, and the region. It was an amazing experience and Alex was a great guide.
