We really enjoyed this tour. Learned about Hungarian history, politics, and culture through the street art. Saw things we never would have noticed on our own. Many thanks to Victoria, our very knowledgeable tour guide, for showing us the city from another point ov view.
Victoria knowledge is incredible. She showed us thebstreet art and to us to 3 different ruien bars. I liked it that when we met her, we told her we had already seen the 7th district, so she offered to show us the viii district which is her home district and showed us the real community bars rather than those for tourists.
We wanted to reach out and express our absolute delight with the art tour led by Victoria. Honestly, the entire experience was a resounding 10/10 from every possible perspective. Victoria was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and professional, making every moment of the tour both educational and incredibly enjoyable. Her passion for the subject matter was evident and truly infectious, leaving us thoroughly impressed and deeply satisfied with the high quality of the tour. It was, in every sense, a perfect experience.
Excellent guide who was very knowledgeable. She shared a lot of information not only about street art but also about history and developments in the local area.
Very satisfied with Victoria. There were only 2 of us and fortunately the tour went ahead. Seen some beautiful street art but also got a lot of background about the gypsies and art culture in Budapest. In short, highly recommended!!!
Fantastic walking tour of Budapest street art with very knowledgeable guide Victoria. She explained the interesting history of the area and how street art has developed and the symbolism. We also had an interesting diversion into some of the old ruin bars and into a climate garden, where one of the founders gave us in impromptu tour, which was lovely.
Great walking tour of the street art in Budapest with our very knowledgeable guide Victoria, she explained the symbolizum of anti government protests in the art
We were waiting at the meeting point, but no guide turned up 😡 Tried to phone, but noone answered. A wasted afternoon, where we could have experieced other things.
The guide was stood waiting for you holding a yellow umbrella outside the metro station and called you twice. Please arrive on time for tours. The guide can not wait indefinitely.
Victoria has an excellent understanding of local and national history. She is a very good speaker and we found the experience very educational. The tour was not rushed and we explored parts of Budapest that we had no knowledge of.
This is about so much more than street art. Victoria uses the art to discuss interesting history and other stories about the country and particularly about the people and their culture. She brings a wonderful local perspective. We felt as though we understood Hungary and its people that bit better.
