The history of Altamura breathes from every stone of the historic center. We ate at the amazing family restaurant Trattoria del Corso, where we tasted the specialties of home cooking, an endless number of excellent appetizers, homemade pasta, porridge from the unique cicerchia legume, all fresh, accompanied by our own olive oil and the famous Pane di Altamura bread.
Stefania was an enthusiastic, energetic guide. She kindly accommodated our schedule. Her energy and good humor made the tour very engaging and enjoyable.
