Overall good experience

Great experience with the guide. Very hot . Restaurant food was in a local snack but had a good choice of local food together with other locals eating. Summary i would say a good visit of the north. Uses motorway to go to grand baie. A lot of sugarcane. I recmend

Memorable experience

Honeymoon

I was truly fascinated by the services that was offered by this company. My wife and I had one of our best time during our trip in mauritius.I recommend this to everyone.

Lunch was amazing!!

A bit crowded during the festive season but it was okay. We had lunch in a small local restaurant which was amazing. I would recommend.

Awful

The drivers are not guides . Very disappointed with this tour and would not advise anyone to book. Unprofessional subsidiary company. Requested to be taken back to the hotel a group of 12 friends. Driver uninformed of the itinerary missing two stops out of the tour. Raised complaint . Food back street cafe filthy and no English menu declined to eat at the cafe provided as we all did . We were told they act as a guide and that is stipulated on the information for the trip . So please be careful .

Greetings, of course for the same trip as threatened, you will put all negative reviews for something that you requested. You should have taken your car to do your tour personal and not a van for 5 different bookings. Of course lying is the better option here as please note that the official language in Mauritius is english, all our menus sign is in english in no matter which restaurant you go. Requesting a by the beach lunch when you booked a city tour,the restaurant you requested to eat is not in our agenda and one meal cost is more than you paid for one person for this tour, how can we allow this? PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR TOUR HAS BEEN REFUNDED BUT STILL YOU TOLD ME THATS NOT ENOUGH. It is written on our product that our drivers acts as guides , guests booking this tour shall verify properly. We have submitted the footage of your language towards me and also why lying when you even tipped our driver and told him that he is not at fault, he is a good guide and you will deal with the company. With due respect this product has countless reviews, only your group has so much issues. You did like the places , fine, every details is online, why did you not google the places 1st and see if it suits you? How we are to be blamed ? Again, i deal with guests around the world, its not a surprise that your group had to deal not only issues with us but also the company the day before us and when we did our investigation, even the hotel management told us that the issues started since the 1st day, all documents has been submitted to Viator , we agreed to refund you only because honestly we do not want payments from guests like this . I always understand the needs of my guests but such rascism behaviour is not acceptable in Mauritius and i hope you never come back here just to preserve our peace. Best regards Hans

Avoid Avoid Avoid - worst experience of my life!!

If there was a zero star for this I’d give it!! Avoid this trip at all costs if you value your money. I booked this tour and went on it yesterday. As you will be able to see from your records I book alot of tours with you as they are usually very good and offer a great way to see a place. However the tour yesterday was the worst I have ever experienced. As we were a group we agreed to forgo the 5 private tours we had booked and go together as a group as this means we could all be together and is also more cost effective for the supplier. We expected a driver and a guide as after all we had paid for 5 of these however we only got 1 driver not a tour guide. The driver knew nothing about any of the places we went to see and just pointed and said there is Chinatown. He had also been given incorrect information and was missing 2 stops on the itinerary that we had paid to see. The trip was poorly organised and chaotic and we wasted alot of time at places due to this On the booking it said water and snacks supplied on request. Half way through the tour we requested these but the driver knew nothing about this and said the company hadn't given him any money to provide them. He said he would see what he could sort. He also didn't know that lunch was provided but then contacted the company and found out where it was supposed to be. When we pulled up to the lunch place we horrified. It was dirty and served nothing we recognised. Prices for lunch were equivalent to £2 or £3 for a tour we had paid £85 for. I asked the driver to call the tour company. The first person I talked to wouldn't listen and insisted it was our fault because we agreed to a group tour. She also said we should have requested the drinks and snacks before the tour took place which wasn't communicated on the booking. We assumed that we could just request on the day as it said snacks to be requested when you need them. She also said that as far as she was concerned the tour was going well. No acknowledgement of mine concerns or apology was offered. I must admit I did lose my temper at this point out of frustration and she put the phone down on me. About 10 mins later her boss called me to say that I shouldn't speak to his staff that way. I informed that she was rude to me too again no apology. He said that he would refund us for lunch which came to a few pounds and then we could buy it ourselves. I said it was more than lunch that was the problem and requested some sort of compensation. He flatly refused and then asked me to put him on the phone to the driver. He stated shouting at and blaming him even though it wasn't his fault but the fault of the companies organisation. At this point we were sat on the coach while they argued wasting even more of our holiday so decided to abandon the tour and leave. We did this 3hrs into an 8hr tour. I would like to request a full refund for myself and my friend who I booked for as we paid over £160in total for a terrible and upsetting experience. I know how good most the tours you advertise are and feel that by having this company on your site may very well cause damage to your reputation and you should look into it to consider taking them off your site as mine isn't the only bad review.

Awful ‘trip’ and unprofessional company!

I have booked a few trips through Viator as they have always been very good but this one has been the worst trip I have ever done……… please don’t waste your money and book elsewhere! We were supposed to have a tour guide and we ended up with a young man/driver who had no clue where we were going or what he should be doing. He admitted he was a driver and not a tour guide. We had to show him our itinerary and he took a photo of it and sent it to his bosses. We explained we should have had a bottle of water and/or snacks and he said he would have to ring his bosses and ask them to send him some money for him to buy them!!! Luckily we had taken our own water! The stop that we did take was awful and extremely disappointing with no information about it given! We should have had a meal included in this tour and where we were taken was appalling and looked disgusting. A couple of us got out our bus to take a look inside and you couldn’t have even called it a cafe, we refused to stay! One of us spoke on the phone to two members of staff who were extremely rude and unprofessional and we were all shocked to listen to how she was being spoken to on the phone, I had never heard anything so disgusting! In the end we all decided to abort the trip halfway through with no drinks/snacks/meal provided! This was a trip we had all been looking forward to and had spent good money on and was ruined by this company’s unprofessionalism. We had a day of our holiday wasted!!! This wasn’t in any way the young drivers fault…….

Avoid Absolutely Awful

As a seasoned traveller who thought they had seen it all this trip has to be the absolute worst one I have ever done I was extremely disappointed. There was no guide at all, which left us confused about where we were going and what we were meant to be seeing. For a paid tour, this is completely unacceptable. The stop that was included was appalling and poorly organized, offering no real value or enjoyment. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was truly awful and looked dirty. To make matters worse when we explained our concerns, the staff were rude and unhelpful, showing little interest in customer service or basic courtesy. Overall, this tour felt disorganized, unprofessional, and not worth the money. I would not recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius and would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a properly managed tour experience. We decided to leave the tour part way through as it was so bad. If you value your hard earned money ahd time as we wasted a day please do not book this tour

Greetings, i understand your concern and i was the one on the phone with you. To start with, i already told you OUR DRIVERS SERVES AS GUIDES. Its mentioned on Viator when you do the booking, any guests can check before doing the booking. I understand you are an elderly person and you might not have understood the whole trip but we cannot send a driver and a guide together. Our drivers are Tourism trained and we have licensed for that. Secondly i understand that many places was overcrowded but you booked a tour on 30th of december 2025, you should expect a lot of people around. The weather was bad, anyone can actually check this on google and its an act of god, we cannot plan the weather. You told my driver to skip 3 places due to rainfall and my driver listened to you. I agree maybe you did not like the local restaurant but thats part of the tour, its a Mauritian restaurant with Mauritian local cuisine. That restaurant has AC, leather seats . You did not even go inside. You told my driver you will get sick if you eat here, its not fair. On top of that when you called me, i told you i will make you dine at Caudan waterfront you said no you want a refund in cash right now which we cannot do as you booked online. Its against policy. Due to that you became angry and everything went bad. I am very very sorry for this experience but believe me when i am telling you i did everything i could to please you. Also please note that the snacks we provide are local snacks, not pringles or chips which you requested to my driver but we still provided you. In the end i tried my best but sometimes we do what we can. We even have a video and text message from the dash cam of you tipping and saying to my driver that he is the best and messages of you stating you gave him coke cola and tips because he took great care of you(which we submitted to viator) Now due to us refusing to give cash refund for food, we have to bear these consequences but its fine and hope you have a good time in Mauritius Take care and enjoy you day

Wasted Time

Stay away!!! Stay far away from this company. They do not vet their drivers. The driver arrived 36 minutes late. His vehicle had no working air conditioner unit on a 86 degree day. To make matters worse, the driver did not speak English. We were heartbroken because this was an entire day wasted. We ended the tour after 45 minutes.

The driver did not speak English!!! the air conditioner in his car was broken when it was an 85° day!!! I ended the tour within 45 minutes!!! when I questioned the driver about why he was not giving me any information. He advised me that he was not a Tour guy. He was a drive

You were in a 2024 vehicle and i already submitted the dashcam pictures i took with you and the 2 other people with you. The ac works perfect and i understand your frustration but comments like this will not be supported. Cctv images of me picking you up will be soon submitted. Again its written only that DRIVERS ACT AS TOUR GUIDES. You told me you wanted someone to hold YOUR CAMERA THE WHOLE TOUR WHILE YOU WILL BE VLOGGING WHICH I SAID NO. 2nd thing is you told that i was doing this because you are a black woman, in Mauritius we have no room for rascism. You told me to shut up twice. And i contacted viator support to report you. You got down in the middle of the way while opening the door while the car WAS MOVING. Is that a way to celebrate holidays in Mauritius? I waited for 30mins you did not come back. We refunded you your ticket and lunch money because we are not thieves. Please check our score rating and other reviews, one will easily know how we are operate. One more thing is you said that WE LOOK INVASIVE BECAUSE WE ARE INVADING YOUR COUNTRY. I understood that you belittle me because i look indian. Which am not. 75% of Mauritius are hindus. We do not tolerate rascism. 1st time in my life i met someone who was so rude just because i could not find you admist the crowd and instead of picking you up at 8hr30 i picked you at 8hr45. I said sorry and told you we can finish even 1 hour late and you replied shut up which is very very rude to start a trip. You showed me index finger when talking to me, thats considered threatening in Mauritius. Please do consider changing your attitude before setting feet again on our paradise island. In 15years of working in tourism field, i never came across someone so stressed and angry for 15min delay and also because you waited at the wrong venue.
