Live a day as a researcher with the scientists of MareTerra NGO. All your curiosities about dolphins will be satisfied. Observe the researchers as they collect scientific data to study the bottlenose dolphin population of the Gulf of Alghero. Discover the stories of some of the most famous dolphins like Suzeo, Taz or Shark Junior. During snorkelling, you'll have a guide who will take you to discover underwater life. On board, we'll tell you some curiosities about what we have seen. You will never be alone! Our excursions are inspired by the principles of ecotourism and sustainability: - Latest generation boat engines reduce fuel consumption and reduce the emission of noise underwater. - HQWW certification (High Quality Whale Watching) for whale watching operators complying with the Code of Good Conduct. This serves to reduce and minimize the disturbance of cetaceans. - Environmental education on board. - By joining Progetto Natura, you can support MareTerra NGO and its scientific research and conservation projects.

Important Information
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

- In case of no sighting of the dolphins, no refund will be provided. If it is not possible to snorkel for safety reasons, the excursion will continue looking for dolphins with the cost of the ticket unchanged.
- Suitable sea conditions are required for this experience. In case of cancellation, you will be able to choose another date if available or a full refund. Other causes that may occasionally lead to the cancellation of the tour are mechanical failures, minimum number of people not reached, health problems and request for monitoring intervention for the protection of cetaceans that cannot be postponed and conflicts with the date of the tour.
- The guides reserve the right to end the excursion early if it is not possible to guarantee the safety of the people on board or to respect the established program due to weather and sea conditions. The cost of the ticket could be reduced in case of early termination of the excursion.
- Suggested equipment: water, beach towel, swimsuit, sun cream, sunglasses, sunhat.
- The tour is suitable for kids from 5 years of age.
- No toilet on board.
- After booking we ask you to send us your shoe sizes to prepare masks and fins. Thank you for your cooperation.
- The activity is not suitable for travellers with respiratory problems
- The activity is not suitable for travellers with heart problems or other serious illnesses
- The activity is not suitable for pregnant women
- All persons who appear at the meeting point with a Reservation and are not eligible to participate in the activity, as indicated in the section “Health Conditions”, will not be entitled to a refund. The company assumes no responsibility for any health problems if participants board without having communicated an unsuitable condition that is not visible or immediately recognizable to the staff.
- "MareTerra Group SNC Disclaimer Statement". Activities that take place in the natural environment inevitably involve risks. To minimise this risk, personnel are adequately trained and the vehicles and equipment used are subject to routine and extraordinary maintenance when required. However, by participating in our excursions the Participant(s): 1) Declares under his/her own responsibility to be in good health and to exempt MareTerra Group SNC from any civil or criminal liability relating to and consequent to the assessment of such status. 2) He undertakes to behave in accordance with the principles of legality and respect for the principles of civility during the excursion and not to engage, in any case, in conduct contrary to the law and civil regulations that may endanger his own or the safety of others. 3) Indemnifies MareTerra Group SNC from any liability, direct or indirect, for any material or non-material damage, theft and/or damage to any personal object and/or expenses (including legal fees), which may arise as a result of participation in the excursion, also as a result of their own or others' behavior. 4) Finally, by proceeding with the Reservation, you accept the terms and conditions and assume all responsibility that may arise from participation in the excursion and release MareTerra Group SNC from any civil and criminal liability, even objective, as a result of injuries caused to yourself or to third parties and illnesses that occurred during the entire duration of the excursion, including transfers by any means to and from the place of the excursion. 5) Pursuant to and for the purposes of Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, the Participant(s) declares that they have carefully examined all the clauses contained in this information and specifically approve all the points listed by proceeding with the Reservation.

Fantastic, engaging, and enriching experience on the White boat with Fabio, a true professional capable of capturing everyone's attention with his way of making everything extremely interesting, understandable, and fun. They manage to convey the love and passion for their work and for these extraordinary animals, which are always approached with the utmost respect. A perfect score for everyone, an experience we will certainly repeat both for the immense excitement of spotting these magnificent animals and for being able to contribute, even if in a small way, to the continuation of this important work.
This was unbelievable experience for us, with these wonderful people. We learned many things about dolphins from them, and we had luck to see them😍😍😍 unfortunately, they didn't want to come close to us, but it was enough for us, to see them without big disturbing. A magical experience, exactly the spirit of nature I was seeking.
A complete and truly exciting experience, combining the pleasure of spending a wonderful half day on a boat with the thrill of scanning the sea in anticipation of spotting dolphins. When you finally see them, the excitement is hard to describe. The guided snorkeling was equally interesting: the guide accompanied us with expertise, telling us about the characteristics of the species that inhabit these beautiful seabeds and making the experience even more engaging. I participated with my daughter and the entire team was simply wonderful with her, involving her, explaining every aspect patiently, and making her feel part of the adventure. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! We returned home happy, with beautiful memories and having learned something new about the sea and its inhabitants. An experience that I recommend without any doubt.

We had a wonderful time. Having the excursion paired with the idea of studying/protecting the dolphins is the perfect mix to explore those beautiful creatures. An experience that was nothing short of exciting. We saw a pair of dolphins. Even the snorkeling, for me as a beginner, was very interesting and educational. Thanks to Fabio, our guide.
