Mo Mo was an excellent guide! He took us to some hidden gems in Alexandria and made the experience truly memorable. He was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a tour in Egypt.
Wonderful and personal. We saw venues with incredible intimacy that large groups would never have access. Highly recommend Momo and his trusty driver, Mohamed.
This tour was very disorganized as the guide showed up asking us what we wanted to do! We assumed it was set tour and never being there we didn’t know what to suggest. We booked a 4-5 hr walking tour which included snack and drinks but the guide said it was only 2 hrs with nothing included. (He did find a place and we had a mango juice) We took a taxi to the castle (which we each paid $5 for) and when we got there, Abraham took my husbands credit card to the ticket booth and charged everyone’s entry fee on it! We didn’t know the other people on the tour so WE had to get them to pay us back. That’s was not good! The guide was knowledgeable enough and good to talk to but talked while we walked so the back people didn’t hear a thing he said. Even though it wasn’t an expensive tour, the time was cut in half for what we booked, it wasn’t what was advertised!
I am shocked to be fair usually we don’t reply but sometime we should to do that If we are feeling totally untruthful review First of all u get more than u need First of all this tour should to be group tour and we arranged private tour from Alexandria port specially and we have more than 2000 guest in our city And as u mentioned that is the cheapest tour ever About the duration of the tour on depends the traffic and the guest energy if he can do it or not and u asked to finished the tour and feeling tired This tour is walking tour - walk no cars no other staff I think that is clear For the drinks as we mentioned coffe or tea but u refused and asked for juice triple prices higher than tea And we did that For the taxi to the castle u asked to visit it ? That is not sightseeing tour not included any entrance tickets The guide help u and u pay for ur tickets only and u don’t pay anything for guiding fees for the castle ( because that is extra and not in your itinerary) And u feeling tired and asked to return back to the port and we arrange that for u In brief u get more than u paid for And if the other guest with u on same tour gives us five stars review and u share this unfair review ! Something not right here - all we asked to be honest and fair no more
Great experience with Mo. He does an excellent job showing you the real side of Alexandria while also sharing the most important historical and cultural sites. Very easy to converse along the way. I learned a lot and enjoyed my time.
Momo was amazing He was patient and gracious. He turned the tour into a food tour as well. So many sites to see and ended up seeing much more than we thought. He was amazing and I strongly suggest you try to get a tour with Momo. It was a wonderful day.
Momo is a great guide. Very knowledgeable. Showed us a nice place to eat authentic Egyptian food. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic tour of Alexandria! Momo is a great tour guide. Despite scheduling difficulties because of a national holiday, he worked hard to show us around his city. He also personalized the tour to fit our interests. He was very knowledgeable and made several excellent food suggestions. He was able to help us experience a truly local Alexandria. We would absolutely recommend a tour with him.
This type of private tour depends on the guide, and with Momo we had the best. He listened to what we wanted to see, suggested sites we had not thought of, and provided an interesting commentary of everything we saw. We went to sites we would not have thought of (Italian Coptic church), to sites still under construction, but important to see in the future (Greek Roman museum), and to the oldest pastry shop in Alexander (1927) where we enjoyed pastacio cakes. We highly recommend Momo as your guide; you will have a customized trip to remember.
Mahmoud is such a sweetheart - he will do everything he possibly can to ensure you have the best possible experience. You can see from the way he deals with you that he does his work from the heart and truly cares that you feel satisfied. He showed me all the areas I wanted to see in Alexandria with lots of historical detail and funny anecdotes. He knows all the local spots and never fails to surprise you with new ideas! Would 100% recommend!!!
Mo is such an amazing guide! My husband and I did the walking tour with him and we just loved him and fell in love with Alexandria because of him. He was very flexible and understanding of our changing schedule because of travel mishaps. He was extremely accommodating. He explained everything very well and he added the tour to the catacombs last minute, although it was not part of the walking tour. In the evening he also showed us the bibliotheca. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about Egyptian and Alexandrian history and culture! Highly recommend him to anyone visiting Alexandria.
