Alcotraz Prison Cocktail Experience in Cardiff

A very good time! The drinks were customized to our taste and the actors were incredible. They gave my friends and I lots of individual attention as well.

A great experience, loads of fun and excellent cocktails. was a little nervous going on one of the hottest days of the year but the venue was a lovely temperature! We had a great time, were given clear instructions and the jumpsuits were varied in size and clean. Toilets were available throughout until 15mins before the end but we were given a warning! the experience was immersive and enjoyable... One of them things the more involved you are the more fun it is but with no pressure! the cocktails were exceptional i have tried cocktails in so many wonderful places but these truly were delicious - depends on what you take with you! you do only get served your alcohol so make sure you buy the good stuff! A very enjoyable 1hr 45mins that flew buy with much hearty laughter!

Great experience and the theatre style show with the guards, warden and the prison break guy was good. Pretty entertaining, but also depends on who you’re with and the others there too. You do get to wear a completely clean orange get up, which after use is not provided to someone else to use and is put straight into a laundry basket, which is good! For the price of £51pp, I wasn’t massively impressed with the fact we have to provide our own alcohol and of this, we get 4 cocktails. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 for me were not great, thankfully I could swap them with my partner. I know that you pay for the cost of the performance, but from a drinks perspective, a bottomless brunch is cheaper. The space in the cells that you sit are quite cramped, the floors are so sticky and the seats are not comfortable. No more than 5 can sit in the cell without it becoming difficult to move around. I would recommend everyone to try this out, but I would only be going again for a big occasion. The staff however, were great and I couldn’t fault them.

Good value for money. Cocktails were very well made and delicious!! Great fun, the cast were good to involve all present and everyone appeared to enjoy it! Great for groups or two or three friends!!

Brilliant experience, every detail was planned perfectly and the staff/actors were brilliant. The cocktails were delicious and we all laughed from start to finish. We went as a group of 6, ages ranging from mid 20s to mid 60s and everyone had a ball. Highly recommend an evening in Alcotraz for anyone looking for something a bit different in Cardiff! Only negative: I spent a loooong time creating profiles for everyone - finding and editing photos, assigning aliases, crimes etc to find out on arrival this was entirely unnecessary. They gave everyone their own card to fill in without any of the photos or info I had entered. If it's not included, I would suggest not sending the link requesting people to do it.

Such an entertaining night out, really fun and full of surprises! The actors do a fantastic job and the bar staff made some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted!

Very enjoyable fun with a group of friends, some of the cocktails were sickly sweet but we told the staff and they were happy to do something else for us, the 1hr 3/4s went by quickly with lots of laughs along the way, it did get a bit raucous and noisy at times with lots of shouting and swearing - this didn't bother me but if you don't like this kind of boisterous fun maybe it's not for you, but I'd recommend this to my mates if they're looking for a different experience in the town centre

The best night out. Experience day and some. This was absolutely amazing. I didn’t know what to expect but it was absolutely fantastic! Would hugely recommend.
