Itinerary
At Clover Pass, you’ll meet your captain and first mate before stepping aboard an enclosed jet boat, the Miss Cindy. Prepare for a thrilling water adventure as your captain navigates through bays and inlets, while your narrator gives you insights on the land, the air, and the sea. Aboard the boat, you will have the opportunity to see the abundant wildlife of southeast Alaska, such as eagles, porpoises, and seals. From May through September, whales are often sighted along the tour route. Silverking’s exclusive elevated boardwalk trail allows you to walk into the normally difficult to access rainforest. Discover it’s secrets like Old Man’s Beard and nursery trees. At the end of the trail, be sure to have your camera ready for the largest known red cedar in the Tongass National Forest. Then, venture back to the lodge for a seafood boil including Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, corn, garlic, pearl onions, and french bread.

Such a fun experience! We were able to see quite a bit of wildlife on the boat ride, and Emerson, our tour guide, made the experience even more enjoyable! The hike through the woods was at an easy pace and people have all ages seem to handle it just fine. The seafood feast was delicious, and took place in the most beautiful setting. My group highly recommends!
Great time. Great tour guide, captain, and food. All the staff we interacted with were great, at every level.
Booked with Royal Caribbean Excursion. Here's the tip: if you have a family of 5 and 4 of them are children under 5, the family need a table to themselves. Not because people don't like them. It is because ar a seafood boil, you need room to eat. Very small children are naturally curious, especially if they are not accustomed to using tongs and sharing tables and food with those outside of family. Food can dislodge from the tings and fly outside of their will. For yhe safety AND enjoyment of ALL your guests whose money is just as green as anyone else's who paid for this excursion, have some courtesy and put a large family at a table by themselves. My and my husband's experience was we were asked to sit at a table for 6 with a family of 5 (3 small childten) whi had already begun touching all the provided eating utensils, already sat their backpacks on top of the table and was coughing. We asked to sit ar another table and was told there was no other table available that was dressed for seating. I insisted and took dressing amd utensils from the table that we were told we had to sit. I had to clean the utensils. We were told that because the seafood pots were per table, we would gave to take our plates and get food from the original table. Again, kids are naturally curious so as soon as the food was placed in the center of the table, yhe kids dug in. No one washed their hands except me and my husband. And whatever they touched was put back in the pile if it wasn't appealing. That's ok amongst family, not in an excursion setting with others who are not part of your family. My husband and I are parents and grandparents. We would not expect for people to eat behind our grandkids. It was not OK for us either. Again, we paid for an experience as well.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your seating arrangement affected your enjoyment of the experience. We understand that sharing a seafood boil with guests you don't know isn't everyone's preference, and we appreciate you explaining your concerns. Our Seafeast experience is designed around communal tables, with each seafood pot prepared fresh and served family-style. Because seating is planned in advance based on guest counts, we're not always able to accommodate requests for private tables, particularly on fully booked departures. That said, we certainly understand your concerns regarding shared food etiquette, especially when dining with young children who are simply being children. We recognize that what feels perfectly normal within one family may not be comfortable for another, and we're sorry that this detracted from your experience. We appreciate your comments, as they give us the opportunity to review how we handle seating arrangements and guest requests on future departures. Thank you again for joining us, and we wish you all the best on your future travels.
What an amazing experience! We took a 20-25 minute boat ride around the island, and watching them feed the bald eagles fish right from the boat was incredible — getting to see them swoop down up close was unforgettable. The seafood boil afterward was the perfect way to cap it off — fresh, delicious, and plenty of it. Highly recommend this adventure for anyone visiting Alaska!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're delighted to hear your adventure was such a memorable part of your Alaska visit. Seeing bald eagles soaring in and catching fish right near the boat is always an incredible sight, and we're glad it left such a lasting impression. We're also happy you enjoyed the seafood boil—there's nothing better than fresh Alaska seafood after a day on the water! Thank you for your kind recommendation, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another adventure in the future!

This excursion was well worth the time and expense. Our guide was clearly knowledgeable. The crew ensured that our trip was safe and pleasant and they knew exactly where to go to see wildlife. The subsequent hike through the rainforest was awesome and the guide had first hand knowledge of the terrain, the vegetation and the history of the area.
