Akaroa Private Group Day Trip from Christchurch

Lovely French-style town surrounded by nature. The beautiful drive offers stunning landscapes and terrain throughout the journey. The visit to the alpaca farm and taking the dolphin cruise were superb highlights. This tour is totally worth the money!

Had an amazing day tour excursion with Steve in Akaroa. Although it was quite windy, it didn’t take away from the incredible experience. The scenic beauty was breathtaking — a charming little town nestled in nature’s lap. Peaceful, picturesque, and adventures. Steve was a fantastic guide, making the trip even more enjoyable. Lovely time spent out with family. Akaroa is must visit place. We loved fhe scenic and topography of this place. Such a quite and isolated location made our trip more intrested.

An unforgettable and truly worthwhile experience! The dolphin cruise was absolutely fabulous, and our tour guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. We were lucky enough to spot numerous Hector’s dolphins and even a few seals, which made the trip even more special. A perfect combination of sightseeing and adventure. One of the best experience we had whilst travelling New Zealand. Loving seeing so many Dolphins 🐬 & seals 🦭 Very comfortable & on time transfer service by Jordan, our lovely tour guide. The water taxi is the most existing thing to do in Akaroa. Must advise to book cruise tickets in advance. Few sighseeing stops in the way to Akaroa & had a great lunch by the Akaroa Harbour. Very good value for money, must visit Akaroa. Thanks Kiwi Adventures.

Excellent tour Spotted little blue penguins was fascinating. Our guide Dave was very Kind & Knowledgeable. Such a great experience on this tour I would wholeheartedly recommend. Would say must book cruise with black cat for dolphin watching. Captain was very knowledgeable about the area with excellent commentary.

Our original plans fall through due to weather, so we challenged our driver to find an "off the beaten path" route for us, and he obligingly took us on a road that wound through the topography from Lyttleton to Akaroa. I recommend this route to anyone who wants to see the stunning beauty of the South Island, including Diamond Harbor and mountainsides dotted with, as our driver put it, "Heaps of Sheep". The drive was challenging, at least it would be for me, but our driver navigated the road like an expert, even though this was his first time driving it. He provided a great deal of information about everything we were seeing.
