We had a fantastic Akaroa day tour from Christchurch. The journey through Banks Peninsula was scenic and comfortable, and Akaroa itself is a beautiful French-style seaside town. We had enough time to explore the harbour, enjoy local cafés, and relax by the waterfront. The optional Akaroa harbour cruise was a great bonus with stunning views.
