Aire Libre - Astro Tour with big telescopes

Description
Experience a stargazing tour in the Atacama Desert, away from the magical town of San Pedro de Atacama. Be picked up from your hotel and travel to the astronomical observation site. Arrive at a nicely arranged outdoor area under the stars, inspired by the Andean Cosmovision, in the shape of a Chakana (Andean Cross) and with a water mirror in its center where you can observe the reflection of the stars. Listen as your certified and well-experienced stargazing guide explains both the Andean and the classic (Greek/Roman) interpretation of stars and constellations. See the most interesting celestial objects through high-end professional telescopes. Finally, the special light-sensitive camera/lens takes beautiful pictures of you and the stars. Meanwhile, contemplate the night-sky and enjoy a hot tea or chocolate or a glass of wine. After about 2 hours of stargazing be dropped off at your hotel.

What an amazing experience! Lasse is a first-class guide and astronomer, it was a pleasure listening to him and explain the night sky to us.
We really enjoyed it; everything was simple and straightforward. Everything was well prepared.
We had a great experience star gazing with Lasse. His knowledge about the constellations and stars was so helpful for a first time star gazers like us. Picking up and dropping was so easy. We spotted stars and formations through the 2 telescopes and was amazing. The throws he provided were such a convenience when sitting under the stars in the open chilly night . Would recommend Lasse and astrolibre
Extremely well organised and run. German guide Lasse switched between English and German for our group. Great explanations. Complete with blankets, cat and toilet. :):):)
Our starry evening with Lasse was definitely a highlight. He shares so much interesting information about the southern night sky. It's a shame that one cannot remember everything! The views through his telescopes really brought the sky closer to us, especially the moon fascinated us. The lovely evening was rounded off with snacks and drinks. What more could one want? Thank you, Lasse!
Lasse is a great guide. The tours were well organized and we had a lot of fun while learning a Lot about the stars and the Atacama desert.
A great experience under a fascinating starry sky, which for us (Germans) was practically on the other side of the world. It was highly interesting to explore the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere with the naked eye and with the telescope. The highlight for us was the fantastic view of the moon's surface.
We booked an astrotour at Lasse in the Atacama and were thrilled. He explained the starry sky to us, drove us to the best places around San Pedro, gave us photo tips, also photographed us in front of the Milky Way on request, provided us with warm drinks in the cold and provided everything around to offer us a successful evening. We have been driven back to the hotel with fantastic photos and lots of new knowledge. Highly recommended
This journey into astronomy and the star world is sensational and unique. Lasse does it really great, he conveys the world of stars to his guests and gives a lot of background knowledge. We loved the facility and felt very comfortable.
Great understandable also for laymen and very interesting, as the view of the Andean peoples is also mentioned in particular. At the end there was a mobile phone photo of the moon taken with the telescope and a souvenir photo of us with the galaxy! All in beautifully designed surroundings outside; equipped with blanket it was not too cold.
