The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in India, in the city of Agra. The emblematic monument of this country, it is in white marble finely chiseled. It was built between 1631 and 1653 under the command of Shah Jahan in order to shelter the tomb of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in childbirth during the delivery of their 14th child. Mumtaz Mahal was also called Arjumand Bano Begum. The Taj Mahal is a marvel of Mughal architecture, at the crossroads of Islamic, Iranian, Persian and Indian styles.
Agra fort is a massive fort that was built with red sandstone in 16th century by Akbar. Later Shah Jahan added more decorations using marbles. It is built on the bank of the river, Yamuna. It took more than 4000 workers and eight years of hardship to complete the fort.. The fort is separated from its sister monument Taj Mahal by just 2.5 kilometers. Often described as the walled city, Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Today, the fort is a major tourist spot and attracts many tourists from all over the world.
This beautiful marble tomb is dedicated to Mirza Ghias Beg, the father of Mughal empress Nur Jahan. He was accorded the title of Itimad-ud-Daulah (pillar of the state) during his time at the Mughal court. The empress is believed to have commissioned the construction of the mausoleum in his memory between 1622 and 1628 AD. Itimad-Ud-Daulah Tomb is located on the eastern bank of River Yamuna in the city of Agra of Uttar Pradesh. This monument is located in Moti Bagh region of Agra and is 25 minutes away from Taj Mahal and 14 minutes away from Agra Fort.
This is a garden that is behind the Taj Mahal. It is called as Mehtab Bagh or The Moonlight Garden. Recent evacuation in this area revealed 25 fountains and a letter written by Aurangazeb to his father in 17th century stating the condition of the garden after a flood. This garden is exactly square in shape. This garden was built by Babur and Shah Jahan chose the current place for Taj Mahal because he wanted a view of this garden from the Mahal. A lot of fountains, pavilions and other attractions were a part of this garden and were destroyed in a flood. It is said that this area was chosen by Shah Jahan for building a black colour building similar to Taj Mahal for him. But, he was imprisoned by his son and could not complete his wishes.

Our tour (driver and private guide) were highly helpful and meeting the schedules agreed in advance. Abdul, our local guide, was very helpful helping with the purchase of tickets for the tickets as well as detailed in the explanations he was giving us. Highly recommended for those who wish to have a tour am Agra with a visit to the main tourist sites.
THE DRIVER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PUNCTUAL, HE PICKED US UP AT THE AGREED TIME. THE DRIVE TO AGREEMENT WAS OK, WE HAD TIME TO HAVE A COFFEE ALONG THE ROAD. IN AGREEMENT, A GUIDE WAITED FOR US WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF TAJ MAHAL AND THE RED FORT. HE IS A PROFESSIONAL WHO EXPLAINS WELL ALL THE TERMS RELATED TO THESE AMAZING BUILDINGS ... AND NOW ABOUT THE BAD THINGS: THE LUNCH THAT THE AGENCY PROMISES IN A FIVE-STAR HOTEL IS ACTUALLY A RESTAURANT IN A THREE-STAR HOTEL STARS !!!THE GUIDE INTENTIONALLY TOLD US THAT THE RED FORTRESS IS CLOSED AND THAT IT IS NOT WORTH VISITING JUST TO PUT THE MONEY FOR THE TICKETS IN HIS POCKET!!!! AT THE END HE MUST TAKE US TO THE RED FORTRESS....ALL THE TIME HE WILL TELLING YOU THAT HE IS TAKING YOU TO A SHOPPING STORE WHERE YOU WILL BUY A PRECIOUS STONES THAT CORRESPOND TO YOUR BIRTHDAY, BECAUSE THERE IS A HUGE COMMISSION FROM THE SELLER, DON'T GO THERE, THE PRICES ARE LIKE IN TIFFANY'S!!!!
Best trip ever with my daughter and Manish travel agency arranged ride from our Novatel to Delhi tour, Agra and Madhura. It was really nice as i have been touring Odisa,Kerala,tamilnadu but this turned out to be very relaxing trip as we did it on last minute. Thank you Manish!!
Usually, the actual view is less than picture. However it is much better than photo. It is valuable for 3 hours trip from Delhi. With guide, You can figure out the full story of Taj.

I have travelled with a large group of Irish people for a wedding in Punjab. We organised 3 tours with creative India tours. Everything was booked through manish Jain. We took a morning tour of the Taj Mahal, local handmade art and local food. Hussan (maybe spelled hazam?) was our guide. He was an absolutely wonderful guide of the beautiful and romantic Taj with excellent history and many excellent jokes along the way. We also had transport to moga for the wedding which went perfectly. We had transport in the AC comfortable large coach to Amritsar. Jagroop was our guide here and he was incredibly wonderful at his job. He explained as much as possible about Amritsar, sikhism and the temple which was absolutely fascinating. We cannot recommend this company and their guides enough. We will absolutely come back to this welcoming, professional, outstanding tour company and their guides. Tuhāḍā dhanavāda!!! Everything was extremely affordable for tourists and we were never ever pressured to tip although we absolutely wanted to for every encounter we had. Thank you so much Manish, Hazam and Jagroop !
This was a well organized trip. Manish Jain (the organizer) was very prompt and flexible and was able to accommodate our requests as we were arriving late and had limited time. Harjeet Singh (our driver) was waiting at the airport on time and was very courteous and helpful. Throughout the 4-hour drive to Agra, he was very communicative and explained the several landmarks that we saw on the way. At Agra, Neeraj Jain (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and friendly and provided a complete description of the tour sites. He also helped us with excellent photographic views throughout the visit. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in visiting Agra.
