Loved the volcano island. Great place to try mud baths and swim. Lipari was good. Did bus trip around island. Franco and bus driver great.
Great guide and everything ran smoothly. good experience
The boat ride was an absolute mess. Over crowded, boat direction not asking the already seated passengers to squeeze - seats made for 3 side-by-side but most sticking to 2 (our bus was the last one to arrive at the boat and no seat left). We were standing outside and with sea waves above 4 feet, it felt like the captain was racing against a similar boat, creating dangerous ups and down. Many passengers were sick and some quite frightened…. Not great before landing on this beautiful island that is Lipari.
After advice from our host in milazzo we took the ferry to visit Vulcano then Lipari The person from the ferry company advised us on the visit time We stayed in Vulcano in the morning while we climbed to the crater and then enjoyed the beach Then we went to lipari in 10 minutes crossing We didn't know the beaches were far from the port We visited lipari which has nothing special in itself We have therefore brought forward our return time to milazzo Serene tours without the stress of the timing of a tour operator
Great day out. Really well organised and just the right amount of time on each of the islands. Thoroughly recommend this trip, Lipari was a beautiful place to visit
Have just had a very enjoyable day c/o tour leader,Alessandra and driver Guiseppe. Both put their skills/experiance to great use as we found ourselves stuck in a bit of a traffic jam following a bit of an RTA on-route to port. Guiseppe’s driving skills and Alessandra’s organisational skills meant the day went ahead with some minor changes. We made the most of the time we had on Lipari and Vulcano.Alessandra spoke to the group and was happy to answer any questions put to her on an individual basis. Two beautiful islands well worth a visit.
I had a lot of problems with the reservation, because of chrome. Calling the agency they assisted and supported me in all steps, thank you for this Mrs. Elena. As for the trip was everything perfect, the guidance of our driver Giuseppe, courtesy kindness, professionalism and sympathy of Alexandra who pampered us throughout the day, without ever being invasive. I appreciated not being photographed, our privacy was respected, we had so much time to shoot Lipari and Vulcano. I would have shortened the ship's crossing time a little. Throughout the trip we received important and interesting information from Alexandra, always ready with her kindness to listen to the requests of travelers. The indications regarding the stops and the departure and return times were very precise and comprehensive. Definitely NOT a trip suitable for children, in the ship joined us another group, and one of these "ladies" changed the baby's diaper on the ship's table. I don't think any sensible parent would take a newborn on a ferry in that heat for all those hours. Of course, the baby cried in despair for most of the outward journey. On his return, his father also raised his voice with a female passenger, who obviously, like everyone around him, suffered the wicked choice of these parents. Given the length of the trip, the Sicilian climate, the fact of having to be with other people in buses and ships, how could that child not cry in despair? It's definitely an adult trip. The Italians of the other group did not shine for cleanliness and hygiene, feet on seats, massages at the feet of the partner and then with the same hands have lunch, and of course video calls and hands-free phone calls. Fortunately my group was composed only of foreigners, civilized and polite, no one has ever disturbed, as good manners requires, no phone calls in the bus, no ringtone that could disturb those who at 730 in the morning maybe dozed off in the bus, as happened to me until the highway. In the future I will make even more trips with this fantastic agency.
A wonderful day on the boat, congratulations for the perfect organization. Between the sun and perfect water. A unique experience. Thank you so much, see you next time.
High transport vs. sightseeing ratio, but the boat part is very pleasant with beautiful scenery. The bus was efficient and comfortable The guide had the right balance between coaching, interpretation and leadership
It was a very great trip. The staff was totally nice, everything worked out great from the organization to the stays. For the price top! The islands also totally beautiful, many opportunities to eat, shop but also to get to know the typical Italian life.
