The tour was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed it very much. The coordination was easy, the price was very fair. The guide was excellent, pleasant, knowledgeable, and engaging. It was a great experience!
What an extraordinary tour. Maria is an excellent communicator. She made Aegina come to life with her engaging narratives, passion and humour. Maria has a detailed knowledge of the mythology, ancient and modern history of Aegina, as well as other parts of Greece. We learnt about local stories and family traditions from her experience in growing up in Aegina. She took us to places that only locals know. She drove slowly around the island giving us plenty of time to soak up each location, to feel and listen. We would rate this one of the best tours we have done in Greece (and we have done lots of tours in our many trips travelling throughout Greece). Highly recommended.
Such a brilliant tour, Kiki made it so much fun but also was a font of knowledge of the island. A must do for any trip to Aegnia a total island tour in comfort and such amazing view points too. Dont miss the pistachio tour too, best ever tasted. Families, couples, solo or friends will all have a great time, 100% recommended.
Aegina Discovery Tours were recommended To us for a personalised tour by a local English speaking guide and what a great experience that turned out to be. We had the most interesting tour of historic places in Aegina. Our guide is very knowledgeable and able to share interesting details of the places she showed us. The Aegina Discovery Tours also offers vegan restaurants to visit and we had a lovely lunch in a restaurant, Thymari, in Aegina Marina, that has multiple vegan options.
fantastic experience with pleasant, funny guides who create a jovial setting for the trip. Very knowledgeable and flexible. I have gained a good insight into Aegina's history.
Had a wonderful time with Kiki and Sandra. If you book this excursion, allow for more than the 4 hours published.
Sandy has such a great knowledge of Aegina, it is always a pleasure to explore with her and see some of the places that other tourists don't get to see. It was fascinating to see WW2 gun emplacements and remote little chapels. However our favourite excursion has to be the field of gnarled, ancient olive trees in the Eleonas valley, only accessible on foot, which we would never have found for ourselves. Some say that they are one thousand if not two thousand years old. We would highly recommend an excursion with Sandy.
