Itinerary
On this day, you will start to visit the National Museum homes of LUCY. Once you enter in the Museum you will visit the archeological parts, the pre-Aksumit, continue visiting the paintings section and finally you will visit the ethnographic parts where you will see some agricultural implements.
Once you done visiting the National Museum drive to Marcto to massive open-air market in Africa. Reach at the market, you will have a short walk through the spices area and continue walking to the recycling area and experience the vibrant hard-working environment. You will see hard working people and wonder the recycling section.
After exploring Marcto, drive out and continue to Debre Zeit for lunch. You will have short drive to debre Ziet, on the way you will see the countryside of Ethiopia. Once you arrive in Debre Ziet you stop for lunch in the resort, after lunch walk to the creator Lakes and you will have a short boat ride. Right after the excursion, drive back to Addis Ababa to your hotel or to Bole Intranational Airport. End of Tour

I had an amazing two-day trip to Addis Ababa and Debre Zeit with Sisai a fantastic guide. He is highly knowledgeable, sharing beautiful historical stories and cultural insights at every site we visited. Highly recommended when in Ethiopia covering primary iconic points in the capital country - The trip was very well organised and is highly recommended for tourists led by a very knowledgeable tour guide who went over beyond the call of duty by also assisting with purchasing premium coffee beans.
Travelled with Sisay Genzeb who came with great knowledge and an amazing lively personality. Took a 1 day solo trip to Addis Ababa on a 14 hour layover. Visited many places including Mount Entoto, Bishoftu Lake and other Rift Valley crater lakes, and of course say Lucy at the Museum. But perhaps the best thing about my trip was travelling with Sisay. It seemed like I knew him for a long time. He is passionate about Ethiopia, its history and culture (also he can take some amazing pictures!). Can't recommend this enough!
