We had a 24 hour layover in Addis Ababa so decided to go on a tour of the city. We hired On The Go Ethiopia Tours for a half day excursion. They were very flexible with the start time and pick up location. We enjoyed the museums and sights our guide took us to and he filled in a lot of cultural and historical information. Lunch was delicious and the walking tour of the Merkato was amazing.
Walk with Kenaw was great, I can highly recommend. He showed uz places we wouldn't see otherwise, such as view of the market from the roof, local restaurant we wouldn't find ourselves, or a great coffe place. He explained to us about coulture, coffee ritual, and a day to day life in Addis Ababa. Kenaw is a great guide and a very nice peeson, the tour was definitely worth it!
