All good until I checked my wallet immediately after leaving and it had been emptied. All cash gone. Made the mistake of putting my locker key down when getting the hamam. Guy on reception couldn’t care less and Wyndham hotel not interested if not staying there.
Though somehow different to typical local hamam I am used to , I liked the experience. For a start it is a very old hamam ; the people who served were gentle and attentive. The service provided was good ; it is especially good for people who do not like crowded places .
The Hammam was great and our whole family enjoyed it (son 10yrs and daughter 13yrs). The staff were very friendly and even though they didn’t speak English made sure to make my children feel comfortable with each step. Everyone has been asking if we can go back again. Highly recommend.
I paid 100€ and it was not worth it at all it wasnt even close to a 100€ experience. Nothing was luxury nothing was even close to high class. I wouldnt pay anything more than 20€ for everything. The pool and steam room and sauna were terrible it was like going to a 1 star hotel. Its like you pay for a very delicious steak in a good restaurant but when you get there they bring you macdonalds in a basement
Top! Bon accueil . Je recommande
I couldn’t have been more pleased! Laid on a heated marble slab, hot and cold water rinse, body scrub (it was gentle), oil / suds scrub and mild massage; mud facial with rinse followed by an excellent 30 min massage. Felt so relaxed and 5 years younger. Worth every dollar I paid.
My experience was incredible they was very attentive, I super recommend
A very amazing Turkish bath experience!
We had bought a so-called full package incl massage. Here comes a description of our experience. We arrived at the agreed time. Was placed in a sofa, in the neighboring hotel foyer with lots of noise, reviewing people and playing children. Was picked up by a cute Indonesian woman, got plastic slippers, stiff towels, led to a small dressing room with nothing but a small closet. We had to use the floor. In the hammam we were both placed on a small oval semi-long marble plate - only intended for one person (we are slender) Was plastered with water and immediately exfoliated with the Kese-gloves. Without any warming of the skin first. Rinsed with water and washed with soap and got a mask smeared in the face. ALL went very fast and band-like. Bringed to a couch, got tea. Wrapped in the towels led through the reception to a bathroom, where we ourselves washed off the mask. Then again a walk through the reception and down the basement to a massage room, where one piece of wood knicked loudly and the advertisements in the TV several times interrupted the gentle music. The massage also showed that it had to go quickly. After that, for the third time we had to go half-naked through the reception for the dressing. Price 975 kr. We have tried hammam many times. This was without comparison the worst.
Very negative experience at Acemoglu Hammam. I had booked a 100-minute hammam + scrub + massage package for two people in a private room, with an appointment at 18:00. Shortly after booking, I was contacted to move the time to 20:00, which I accepted. Once we arrived, however, we were asked to wait any longer until 8:40 p.m. At that point, we were told that the massage would not be carried out and that the service would be reduced to a simple hammam + scrub of about 55 minutes, at a cost of about 60 euros each. We were charged 2 fees, equivalent to EUR 120. The situation was scandalous when we found that the treatment was carried out by a single operator for both of them, alternately, for a total total of 55 minutes: in fact, a service equivalent to that of one person, but paid for two. In addition, we had booked a private room for a couple, but the cot was clearly designed for one person only. This made the experience uncomfortable and even risky: my partner repeatedly risked slipping because of the wet, soapy surface. Even the dressing room was completely inadequate for two people, which was extremely small and difficult to use. Overall, a poorly managed experience that is unprofessional and does not meet what was promised at the time of booking. Absolutely not recommended.
