We did the skip-the-line tickets and got right in. David is truly amazing. There was part of the museum that I think everyone missed as there was literally no one in that entire section.

Absolutely do not get this ticket. It serves no value at all. Book the ticket thru the museum directly. We essentially picked up our ticket and stood in the same line as all the others. The David is the only well known art, most is religious icons-beautiful but seen everywhere in Florence.

Booking wasn’t confirmed but we got charged anyway. Then the tour guide didn’t show with no communication whatsoever. Poor communication and I had to request a refund

Our start time was delayed because the staff did not have the information for ticketing organized in a way that met the needs of all the customers.

On that particular morning, there was a slight delay from the museum in releasing the tickets, which resulted in entry approximately 10 minutes after the reserved time. Unfortunately, this is something that can occasionally happen during peak periods due to the high demand at the Accademia Gallery. There was a little confusion on the meeting point but it resolved in time. We enjoyed the self guided option as it allowed to dwell in the exhibits we enjoyed the most.

A must see nothing more impressive than the David. The Rape of the Sabine will bring tears to your eyes. You must educate yourself about Michelangelo’s prisoners then visit each one of them.

Our visit to the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s David was smooth and well-organized. Received tickets at meeting point. The only strange thing is when we met to pick up our tickets they were for a later entry time than I actually purchased. Like 2 hours later. It ended up being ok because I gave us enough time between tours to get to our second one, but it still was not exactly what I agreed to purchasing.
