Very good organization, respected schedules (our flight was early and the agency adapted), smiling staff and little care for the whole family (special attention to children) To choose without hesitation
It is a fairly long drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel. But it is a site not to be missed in Egypt. It offers a French guide for some explanations outside temples. Then it's a free visit to the temples.
The excursion itself remains friendly but not essential when considering the round trip time. There are a lot of people on site so make sure to be there from 7am, which requires being much closer to Abu Simbel than Aswan. Finally and regarding the Sami guide, he speaks good French and gave us interesting additional information even if, having a guide is not essential either. Overall the activity remains average but the tour offered by Knight Tour Egypt is an excellent value for money.
Very nice experience. transport ok. Really great and professional. We left from the Port of Aswan (we were on a Nile cruise). I recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Abu Simbel from Aswan.
We were picked up on time, which was a good start, but the overall experience left us disappointed. Unlike what we read in other reviews, we only received a very brief, 5-minute introduction about a few scenes in the temples. There was no detailed explanation or proper guidance, which was the main reason we booked the tour.
Very good tour, kept to time and well organised. It was definitely worth leaving at 4am. They accommodated drop offs for everyone i.e. airport, train station...etc
The temple was amazing, They picked us up from the hotel where we stayed at the scheduled time, it was a trip comfortable trip, we enjoyed every moment with tour guide, he shared a lot of interesting information about the temple and that area with us, the guide speaks English very well, he took our photos very nice, then we were dropped off at our hotel, it was a great tour, nothing happened other than what was promised, no extra fee was charged (we gave a small tip to the driver, but there is such a culture here, so it's normal)
Amazing temple and Shaima was very nice! She helped me verify my boat departure so I could have more time exploring the temples.
Unique experience, we were there in June 2024, it had about 40 people as it was actually too hot. But it didn't matter to us, because we had a clear view of both temples! Gigantic experience
Abu Simbel itself was very nice. However, the trip took 3 hours each way, and the car was a van with narrow seat spacing, so it was quite uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it for large people or couples. I recommend asking about the car and seats in advance. Also, be aware that you will need to give a relatively high tip when you get off the car, which is pretty much Egyptian standard.
