The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one the world's largest mosques and a massive architectural work of art that intentionally blends different Islamic architectural schools. It features 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet.
The design of the hotel is a mix of Islamic architectural elements such as balance, geometry, proportion, rhythm and hierarchical emphasis alongside modern methods of design and construction. The central dome features elaborate geometrical patterns and 114 smaller domes are spread over the building. The colour of the building was inspired by different shades of sand found in the Arabian Desert.

The trip to Abu Dhabi was just awesome! Everything was perfectly organized and a great experience from start to finish. Our guide Hatem was excellent very competent, friendly and with a lot of humor. We really enjoyed the Abu Dhabi tour. We had the Ahmad guide. Ahmad is very friendly, professional and patient. He is informed and motivated and has provided us all with sufficient water. Overall, the tour was very pleasant and recommended.
We had an amazing guide Hatim, who explained everything with great enthousiasm. We were in a group of Germen people, but we understoot most of the tour in Germen, and of we didin’t get in all, Hatim explained of all again in English. We had a mixed tourbus, so different trips within the tour, but the guide made site we didn’t have a boring moment! It was a great tour all together.
