Julia had a lot of knowledge and we got to know Aachen from different sides. We had a great time. Unfortunately, in a large group she was not easily understood by everyone.

The people were very friendly and the water was cheap and the delicacy of the architecture The shopping mall was fun as a baby, and then I made a reservation to go again with the time available

We really enjoyed our tour. Our guide was punctual and gave us a detailed history of Aachen, Charlemagne's role there, and the overall history of the city. My friend on the tour is a history hobbyist and loved that our guide had such broad and deep knowledge such that she could answer his questions when he was trying to connect what she was saying about Aachen with the rest of the ancient and medieval worlds. The weather was not the best and yet our guide braved it with us to give us a great experience.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We booked a 1 hour tour last minute. Glad it worked out. Quick tip for anyone looking to book a tour in Aachen. If you want to go upstairs in the cathedral and see the thrown of Charlemagne, then you need to book it through the cathedral’s visitor center. Our private guide was able to come inside the cathedral with us and explain everything on the ground floor, however he explained that only the guides from the visitor center are allowed to go upstairs to see Charlemagne’s thrown.
