Sherbin was GREAT!!! Friends and family group of 9 were pleased with the entire tour. Would definitely recommend Anderson Tours.
Thank you for your feedback it's very important to us and thank you again for choosing us for your Roatan Excursion we hope to have u with us again in the near future
We enjoyed our lovely tour guide, David. Upon starting our tour, he gave us the option of sticking with the tour we booked, which he said would be very short, or we could opt to go to the animal sanctuary and pay to get into a gated resort for lunch and beach time that we would pay for. We decided to do that even though we'd have to pay. When we got to the animals, it was lovely to hold them and learn about them. After we paid to get into the resort community, lunch was tasty and we had beach chairs set up for us. The beach was disappointing. It was a small area roped off, and there were a lot of people in a tight space. I was hoping or a large beach area, but at least we enjoyed getting into the water.
Sadly this excursion did not meet our expectations at all. The tour guide Allan was very courteous but met the struggles of constantly trying to fix his boss's poor planning. The chocolate "factory" was mostly a small chocolate store where they briefly speed through a rehearsed presentation and gave us pieces of chocolate. Rum tasting was slightly better but was not impressed either. For the beach they told us that the location on the reservation was not longer available because of Covid. The beach they wanted to take us had no chairs and it was ugly so they ended up taking us to a beach where we had to pay $250 to access in addition to what we had already paid. The final straw was the food, which even though it's included, we could only choose from select dishes available in the small restaurant, and after we placed the order more than half of the order couldn't be completed because they didn't have enough for our party. After another 10-15 mins of scrambling we were transferred to the next door restaurant to be served. At this point we were now late and had to rush our food to get to the port on time and not miss our cruise. All this put a damper on the experience and at the end we were not satisfied with it.
Hi hope all is well sorry for the all the miss understanding that's why I give your party one my top guide to make sure u had a great time but it keep been impossible the hole tour you call me 4 time just complaining about everything we does this tour everyday their is ship in even people in the hotel the beach club is in west end where you guys had to spend time at the beach were was included in your package you wanted to go over to west bay witch you will had to pay to use the resort facilities that was not part of your tour we take you still once back to the restaurant the manager explain to the group they would had to wait a bit if all wanted the same thing because they had a larger group walk in n before you and they wanted the same thing so they would had to get them out the way first so they pass you over to the other restaurant on the side with is the same restaurant same owner to speed up the process you were explained all this and everyone did what was in their power to make it went is best is possible but not everyone come to have fun and enjoy chocolate and Rum factory hundres of people go in and out daily from the cruise ship and no one ever complain but once again am really sorry and the hole team send our apologies and we hope u enjoy the rest of your cruise and MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Chanel was a great host, we were expecting a group in a van or bus, but it was just my couple in a small sedan. Chanel was very patient, informative and suggested other great adventures. The only factor that should be mentioned is that lunch Is about 40+steps up into a mountain. My wife was scared and out of breathe by the time we got into the restaurant. Very disappointed that this was not mentioned.
Chapin!! Thank you so much for my tour of the Island. You went over and beyond for me. I am so happy you made my time fun. Will definitely be back!!!
Richard was wonderful. After making it through the gauntlet of hawkers outside of the port Richard was a breath of fresh air. The tour is a drive to several locations. Gave us a flare of what the island is like. We did not end up at the beach but it was raining. Just clarify if you want to go to the beach. I think Buccaneer Restaurant is closed
Hayman Webster was our tour guide and our new friend. He was so knowledgeable, accommodating and fun. We enjoyed seeing the island, the culture and meeting the locals. It was amazing.
The tour guide was beyond amazing! We loved him! He was so nice and informative! He did exactly what we asked! He exceeded our expectations! We will use y’all again in the future!
Long, uncomfortable rides is an old Toyota van that had wet seats and left all our group of 10 with wet pants. A trip to an animal sanctuary (monkeys and sloths) that charged an additional fee to enter. The chocolate factory and the rum tasting did not meet expectations. The hike up 75 steps to the "restaurant" wasn't as bad as the two hours we waited for lunch. then the rain started. The only bright spot was our guide/driver, Murphy.
