An extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. Great communication and even booked us a table at a lovely restaurant. Very happy with the timings later in the afternoon creating a quieter and slightly cooler experience. We so enjoyed it!

We wanted to escape crowds (afternoon tour - great suggestion, Micaela). We were lucky to meet such a knowledgeable guide (Micaela can adjust to your area of interest: history, architecture, family genealogy ...). We enjoyed it very much. Micaela is not only the most knowledgeable guide, she also knows/feels when you just want to sit quietly and enjoy and she gives you time to absorb. Micaela can navigate brilliantly the dynamics, and make your trip the most enjoyable experience. Next time in Stresa, we will meet her again (hopefully she will have a free slot in her calendar).

A big thank you to Micaela for the visit to the Boromée Islands, the Palace and its gardens. Isola Bella is worth a visit. Especially the garden with the white peacocks is beautiful. The interior vh building is not worth it. By skipping this, you save an hour of waiting in line and the entrance fee. Isola pescatore is a big circus. You can eat in the many restaurants. Other than that, it's not worth it.

Maybe with a local tour guide you could have appreciated and learnt much more! Isola Pescatori is a pretty fascinating old vllage, how sad that you call it a circus...you have probably missed the real atmosphere of this island, so picturesque! And quite odd reading your comment that the interiors of isola Bella's palace are not worth visiting! It is a sumptuous palace that always wow visitors! An amazing 17th-century palace with original period furniture and decorations, housing beautiful art pieces. And all you remember are the white peacocks! What a pity! Best regards, Micaela

Micaela led my wife and I on a tour of the Borromean islands. She is incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the information to the types of things we are interested in. Very knowledgeable guide. She was familiar with the plants, in addition to the history of the Island and the Borromean family. The boat driver was great too. We enjoyed the tour.
