First things first: Yes, the tour name is not quite correct, you are only 1h in the kayak, but we knew that from the reviews before. The tour was otherwise entirely to our liking: some selected places and there enough time to linger and enjoy. Our guide Anat (sorry this is probably completely misspelled by me) and the boatman have always taken care of our well-being. It was exciting despite not perfect English and he showed us animals we would not have seen alone. It may be a coincidence, but when we kayaked, we were the first ones on site and so had Talabeng Island all to ourselves. Also on BuBu Island were very few people, which was super pleasant and relaxing. The food was simple and delicious, who likes it hotter can re-season. The only criticism: In the mangroves you don’t see much as you are on the main channel (don’t go any different with the longtail boat, which is not really louder than a speedboat by the way). All in all, we loved it and would like to thank the team for this experience.
Amazing experience would highly recommend I had the best day the lunch was delicious too an our guide was great
As soon as we arrived at the pier, we were driven to the pier by a young unfriendly man. Of course he didn't speak a word of English and of course he was bothered that I went to the toilet. But this was a good decision, because afterwards we should 3! Hours sitting on a longtail boat. Silently, because the bots leader did not speak a word of English either. Once we got to the caves, all we heard was "climbing!" And what awaited us there could not be done! Car tires on a wall with a gradient of at least 50 degrees! 20 meters high? About slippery car tires? It came as it had to. Two participants in our group got injured. Bad organization! An incompetent guide not powerful in the English language who puts his guests in danger! No, I absolutely cannot recommend this tour
Dear Customer First of all, we would like to clarify that our day trip program does not include the activities you mentioned, such as rock climbing and using a tire. It seems there has been a misunderstanding. Our company does not offer this type of trip. We are sorry to hear about your complaint, especially since you did not inquire thoroughly beforehand. There are 6-7 companies that offer trips to Talabeng, and they all have similar programs, but our program does not include rock climbing as you have described. Therefore, we believe this may be from another company, and we are sorry that such an incident occurred." Best regard Sak
In the end 4 minutes of kanoe. No rock as in the picture presented, especially the monkey head rock. First stop on an island only to eat. Meals more than disappointing, omelets and rice. After leaving for kanoe on dirty micro beaches and without much interest. We can see that it is really an industry. The nice guide but a little swung there like that, he does not speak English. However he did everything to find monkeys to show the children and it was great of him but for the excursion itself. It's not worth it.
It’s a fun experience and the nature is beautiful. For me the highlight was feeding the monkeys in the mangroves at the end. These monkeys are like dogs said our guide. So gentle, you can pad them while they eat fruits. I have never seen that anywhere in the world.
The view was breathtaking. Monkeys seen wild in action - this was interesting. This activity was perfect for non first time kayakers. Minimal guidance was provided to first time / non experienced members, leaving them panic and frustrated during kayaking. The guide was far ahead of us and we almost lost him.
The trip was excellent, actually better than described as time in mangrove was only limited to feeding monkeys. Most of the time was spent on islands, about 60 to 90 minutes in kayaks.
The 3 island tour and canoeing experience was amazing. We had great company with other tourist, the guide and staff were amazing. Great experience.
The kayaking and the cave sightseeing were the best parts. The feeding the monkeys instead of taking our second kayaking around the mangroves as described in the original booking description was not accurate and disappointing.
A nice tour that you can do once. You shouldn't expect to see or hear anything spectacular - it's just a nice day on the water. You spend a lot of time on a super loud Longtal boat. Don't forget ear protection (and high sun protection)! Unfortunately, in my case, only a maximum of one hour of kayaking was included; a whole day on the kayak is a complete misstatement. Father and son guides put a lot of effort into really hard work, but there are no explanations to help you understand due to language barriers. Lunch and Bubu Island are OK. So overall it's a nice trip. My tip: take waterproof cell phone cases for taking photos on the kayak as well as music and just enjoy :)
