Eugene is a fabulous guide. In-depth information regarding history, politics and the economy. A very balanced view. He also tailored the tour to incorporate interests and professions. Great experience Cathy.
I had a great walking tour with Eugene. I was about 20 minutes late because of a traffic jam, but he sent me the group's next location so I could catch up. I really appreciated his flexibility and willingness to help. Eugene is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide who shared fascinating insights into Santiago history, culture and main attractions. He made the tour engaging with interesting stories and was happy to answer everyone's questions. After the tour, a few of us went for dinner together which was a nice way to end the day and chat with both Eugene and the other people in the group. I'd definitely recommend this tour if you're visiting Santiago!
I thoroughly enjoyed my walking tour with Eugenio. He is very knowledgeable and provided a great overview of the sights and history. We covered more than I expected and I was very grateful to receive such a good orientation to Santiago.
Eugene was an excellent guide. He provided a lot of great detail about Santiago and the history of Chile and took us to many places I would not have seen by myself. The tour was not rushed and I really felt I got a good feel for the city. Definitely recommended it.
Very nice excursion through the historic center of the city. Very complete and our guide Eugenio was excellent, he told us everything with great detail and dedication.
Eugene was a great guide, he was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the city, and he answered everyone’s questions with patience. I would highly recommend this tour to people who want to know more about this historical background of Santiago.
Guide Eugenio an excellent guide I recommend.
It was a very interesting introduction to the city of Santiago with an excellent guide! We saw a good range of sights.
Eugene was very knowledgable about history, culture and architecture and welcomed all our questions The tour was packed with great sites and information, but was still comfortably paced and gave us time to take pictures and explore our interests. Highly recommend, and brace yourself for the fast flow of facts!
Very casual and informative tour of old town, Santiago. Small group of 5 people, I was a solo participant and felt very welcome from the start. Eugenio was easygoing and engaging. The tour I joined was bilingual English and Portuguese which gave me time to walk around and view the area of topic more intimately while the other half of the tour group "gained the same insight." Overall a fantastic excursion and great value for money. There is a stop at a café after Plaza de Armas. I would have preferred to continue the journey and finish earlier but Eugenio was great at understanding his audiences needs and others in the group needed a rest break. Highly recommend.
