Walling tour, some steps. Knowledgeable guide w engaging demeanor. Provided extensive history and cultural context to this amazing archeological gem.
A perfect little activity to boost your understanding of the city's history. Nice and knowledgeable guide.
History based with added culture insights. Ante found all the shady spots which gave a layer of comfort on a hot day.
We recently took a 90-minute walking tour of Diocletian’s Palace and had an excellent experience. Our guide, Ante, was extremely informative, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of Split and the palace itself. The tour was very interesting from start to finish, and we learned far more than we would have exploring on our own. It was absolutely worth the cost and a great way to experience the history and culture of the area. Highly recommended!
This was one of the best walking tours we have done. Ante was a great guide and offered a lot of historic information as he said he is a history nerd. If you want to learn about split and get off the beaten path this is the tour I would recommend
Karla was a great guide! She was very informative but not boring. I had a great time touring diocletians palace and will be taking her up on her local food recommendations!
Slavko was so fun. He had a great attitude and good local insight. Group was nice and small and he made everyone feel welcome.
Was waiting for at the meeting point waiting for the tour to start when at the time the tour was due to start (and only then) I got a notification from GetYourGuide telling me the company had cancelled. That’s so poor to leave it THAT late. The reason given was poor weather… the weather was to remain dry for at least 1-2 hours after the tour was due to finish and I see multiple guides leading groups through the old palace area. I suspect I was the only one booked on and that was the real reason they decided to cancel. The weather excuse is nonsense (what your guide can’t guide in rain anyway). Company representative I spoke to on the phone didn’t apologise once! Avoid!
Dear, We are sorry for your bad experience but you left a bad review on the wrong website. This was not our tour.
We had a wonderful walking tour of Split with Slavko. He was friendly, knowledgeable and funny! There were only six of us so we had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get them answered. It was very enjoyable and inexpensive.
Great introduction to the Diocletian palace and Split. Ivanna was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The private tour is the way to go!
