Great way to experience Hong Kong in one day!

We did the Cathay Pacific 72 hour layover...a great way to see Hong Kong! I contacted Jackie Wong for our airport transfers and our full day tour. He was very responsive and tailored the tour to meet our requests. Our airport transfers were on time in an updated very clean vehicle with a professional and friendly driver. Jackie Wong took us on our full day tour and it was awesome. Our private tour included The Peak and Big Buddha as well as the Sky Terrace 428 Peak Tram and Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Ride. Additionally we visited Man Mo Temple and the Mid Levels Elevator. We walked through the financial district and stopped to sample the favorite local's pastry and beverage. Sadly, we did not have the best weather the day of our tour; however, Jackie made sure we were able to enjoy everything to the fullest. We learned many historical and interesting facts while touring. I highly recommend a private tour because you are able to see and learn so much more.

Best layover tour in Hong Kong

This was an amazing layover tour. Jacky showed us so much in our long layover in Hong Kong and the car was very comfortable. He also is super knowledgable and able to answer any questions. He knows all the best spots and took photos to share later. We hope to do another layover tour with him on the way back. I would highly recommend doing this layover tour if you have a long layover.

Tour Guide makes the Difference

The tour was amazing! Hong Kong is such an incredible place with beautiful people! What made the tour so amazing was our tour guide, Sydney. Sydney was fun, funny, knowledgeable and enthusiastic!! She took us to so many amazing places during our layover. So worth the cost. I’m so glad she was our tour guide. She was excellent, timely and taught us so many wonderful things about Hong Kong and Chinese history! Will definitely be going back!

Highly Recommend this Tour!!!

We had an awesome time on this tour! Kiyo was fantastic, and had so much knowledge to share with us. Even though we had to reschedule a few things, Kiyo was so understanding and quickly changed plans to account for both the time and the weather. He also took us to a special restaurant based on our dietary needs and ordered some amazing dim sum that we got to try. In general, he was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient, and we got to look at so many different parts of Hong Kong in just a short layover. All in all, this tour was fantastic, and we highly recommend it!

Enjoy your Hong Kong layover in style with an understanding guide

I had a long layover and Jacky met me on my schedule. He started with a great view and history lesson on Victoria Peak to set the context. We roamed the city and area over the next 8 hours, including some delicious stops to sample local food and drink. Multiple markets, seaside, neighbourhoods, etc. What a wonderful guide and day!

So worth it

We had an excellent time on this guided private tour with Jackie. We communicated extensively regarding possible COVID restrictions which was helpful to me since things were changing rapidly. Our guide met us at the Arrivals Halls and we took our journey in a comfortable vehicle. Jackie made it interesting for our children too for whom it was their first time in Hong Kong. I feel like we learned things that I didn’t know during our prior trip 15 years ago. Bonus was that he took pictures for us! Highly recommend and worth the VIP experience.

Operator response

Thank you Nali for the review! We strive to do better especially for our airport layover tours as we know it is a hassle to navigate Hong Kong on your own and timing is the most important factor too. Glad you enjoyed the tour.
