The tour in Israel changed my life! It was the most beautiful and exciting trip I have ever made. In addition to the spectacular places visited, I want to address a special appreciation to Mistral Tour Operetor in Turin which was fundamental in giving us everything and beyond we could wish for. If you ask me even the slightest thing that was not to our liking I would not be able to find it. In addition, a round thank you I do to our guide Osama who thanks to his historical, cultural and religious knowledge gave us 7 fabulous days that have enriched us from every point of view. So if you want to make a superlative trip to Israel rely on the Operetor Mistral tour a guarantee without ifs or buts.
So educational and beautiful the best trip I've ever taken! Leah was the most amazing tour guide I could hope for! We saw Roman ruines and learned so much current culture and history! And it was fun!!
Booked through This House Travel.... You can only agree with the positive opinions here : perfect organization, great guide Eli Ballin, we were thrilled and feed on these impressions for a long time to come
A Brilliant Life Time Experience. Loved it all - the sights, the hotels, the meals and most importantly Boaz was the best tour guide. So much to see and was educated with so much information. Highly Recommended !!
Thank you so much Maria ! we are happy that this was your feedback and we will surly pass this to Boaz.
You “sniff” Israel for a moment, with a good guide been to some beautiful places. You do need to be in good shape. For people with a walker, or wheelchair, totally unsuitable. Good, basic hotels. Nice bus that we drove a lot of km. As far as I'm concerned, the Golan Heights are allowed by the program. Instead, a visit to the Jordan. Definitely worth it and it seems to me a “stepping stone” to go again.
Despite booking this tour through Viator as “7-Night Israel Highlights and Biblical Tour”, it merges with “Highlights Tour”, organized by CTO. Overall, I found this tour to be a great way to get to know Israel. As it’s only a 7-night tour, time is a constraint as to how much one can see and visit. The tour started in Jerusalem and gradually moved north to Galilee and the Golan Heights before heading west to the coast (Haifa) and south to Tel Aviv. Our guide, Pauli, and the bus driver were both great. Be aware that this tour can be physically demanding as mornings start early and there’s a fair bit of walking under the melting sun. There were also two optional tours we took: i) boat crossing of the Sea of Galilee, and ii) the Dead Sea. In addition to all the amazing historical places we visited, we spent two nights at the beautiful Hagoshrim Kibbutz. It completely changed my perception of a kibbutz. The only negative feedback I have relates to the hotel we stayed at in Jerusalem (Jerusalem Gate Hotel). Our hotel room and bathroom were quite dirty and breakfast was mediocre at best. In all fairness, when we booked the tour we opted for the cheaper room, but I could not imagine it would be this bad. All in all, I highly recommend this tour, but some heads-up regarding the hotel in Jerusalem would have been nice.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I am glad to know you enjoyed your Tour with CTO and I hoppe to see you again in Israel or in Jordan with us.
We have just finished our tour with CTO , what a wonderful experience, visiting so many historical sites and given such an in depth and comprehensive tour, we were so fortunate to have such a great guide as Yossi, ( he is a walking encyclopaedia ) he has the ability to make you think and question historic events Brilliant! This trip is full on and quite tiring but we could not believe just how much we got to see and learn, we were in a small group of 15 which was perfect and what an amazing group of people who we will remain in touch with. Thank you Yossi!
Dear Erica, I love your review and you are absolutely right about Yossi, the walking encyclopedia :) I hope to see you again in Israel and with CTO
Booked this tour through Tourradar.com in the UK. It finished today and was absolutely fantastic. There were just 7 of us, us 2 from the Uk and 5 lovely people from Canada. Our tour guide Ronit was excellent and made it an forgettable experience. Our driver Mahmood was also great, a very reliable driver. Can’t recommend this tour highly enough, it covered everywhere you’d want to see if interested in the old and New Testament and also to hear about everyday life in Israel. Will be sad to leave tomorrow.
Dear Noreen856, Thank you very much for your review and for choosing CTO for your tour in Israel. We have the best guides and drives :) I hope to have you with us again in the future.
Pretty complete tour but with too large a group of 44 people. They organize it as they want, mixing different groups with different circuits hired in the agency of origin. All the visits were made, but because too much time was wasted on visits to shops, some visits were too quick. The best part of the tour, THE GUIDE, CLAUDIO. With good historical knowledge, very pleasant and perfectly controlling a group too large. I cannot say the same about the driver of whom I do not remember the name, ill-mannered, nosy and very often driving while talking on the mobile.
Excellent!!! The guide (Claudio) we were lucky enough to accompany us very professionally. The beautiful places toured and the stay in each of them is perfect
