Very good experience, very specialized people in the field and a great memory. Without a doubt, we will repeat.
Fabulous trek, we had a great time. The organization was excellent; we enjoyed the professionalism and kindness of the team every day. Crossing authentic villages, meeting the locals, sharing with nomads, and enjoying delicious meals and tagines: We can't wait to go back with Hassan, Brahim, and Youssef for another Moroccan adventure.
A few unforgettable days on the nomads' trails, in the slopes of M'Goun, in the Berber gardens, amidst the kasbahs... I will return to stroll with Hassan!
We have a 6-day Atlas trek in November with the family, the ascent of M’Goun was not possible because of the snow but the alternative offered was great 🌞 Hassan our guide introduced us to the gorges, Berber villages and nomadic life! We highly recommend doing this small group trek to meet the locals ☺️
We did a 6-day trek mid-November as a couple, the ascent of M’Goun was not possible because of the snow but the alternative proposed was great 🌞 Ibrahim our guide introduced us to the gorges, Berber villages and nomadic life! We highly recommend doing this small group trek to meet the locals ☺️
Excellent guides, excellent food, amazing scenery November. 2025 • enter Friends. Atlastriptours was found on Tripadvisor. They set us both up with a private visit to M'Goun. This is a rigorous and rewarding hike through beautiful landscapes. You will see other hikers and in the warmer months shepherds and nomadic goats. Depending on the size of your group, there is a guide, a mule, one or more mules, and additional staff as required. On our trip we slept in tents for two nights and shelters and hotels the others. This trek is also a quick introduction to the very hospitable and ancient Berber/Tamazigh culture. Note that on the first day, you climb about 2,000 m to a ridge of 3,300 meters then descend to the refuge in Tarkedit which is a little lower. Jamal and Moha picked us up in Marrakesh and dropped us off at Arrouss (about 2000 m above sea level? ) where we met our trekking guide Youssef and spent the night. Early the next morning, Youssef and the mule driver Ibrahima loaded the mule and we went up to Tarkeddit. The rest of the days followed the route described by Atlastriptours. Youssef is from the High Atlas Mountains and knows them well. He is energetic, proactive and cheerful and is a good cook. When one of us had trouble with the altitude, Youssef soon proposed alternatives for the next day. He provided nutritious and tasty meals with plenty of fresh vegetables and protein. Snacks while walking were healthy and abundant. Great trip.

Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! 🌟 We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the M’Goun trek and that the experience—from the stunning scenery to the cultural encounters—was memorable. Our team (Jamal, Moha, Youssef, and Ibrahima) will be so happy to know their efforts made your journey smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Youssef especially will appreciate your kind words about his guiding and cooking skills. We’re glad the meals and support along the way kept you comfortable and energized, and that our team could adapt when altitude became a challenge. It’s always an honor to share the beauty of the High Atlas and the warmth of Berber/Tamazigh culture with our guests. Thank you for trusting AtlasTripTours with this adventure.
