Dear Shelly, thank you for choosing this day tour with us, also thank you for your positive feedback, we look forward to meeting you in the future again!
The Tour Guide is amazing. I forgot her name. But she made my day in Chengdu as if I am in a dream. I appreciate her politness and knowledge and adaptability to my needs. This is what I will try to repeat but it will be not easy as this was also in Chengdu. The whole thing was amazing. The Tour guide was a match for me so we enjoyed every moment.
Dear Ibranhim, thank you very much to trust us. We are very glad you had a great time with us here, look forward to meeting you in the future.
We engaged a tour guide with the expectation of a comprehensive tour guide service. However, the experience fell short. Instead of gaining insightful knowledge about the location, we found the service to be more of a translation/coordinator assistance. The guide lacked familiarity with the place, unable to share historical context or meaningful details, making the cost unjustifiable. Although the person was nice and helpful, the service didn't align with our needs. We believe this would be better suited for non Mandarin-speaking visitors needing assistance navigating the area, rather than those seeking an enriching tour experience. The price was rather high and ay least a partial refund should be considered. It was a time wasting experience especially when you are on a short holiday.
Dear Sacha Thank you sincerely for choosing our services, and we deeply apologize for the disappointing experience during your tour. We are fully committed to delivering professional cultural immersion experiences, and we regret that we failed to meet your expectations in this instance. Regarding your feedback, we immediately conducted an internal review with our guide team. Our investigation confirmed that the guide assigned to your tour inadequately prepared historical/cultural commentary, resulting in insufficient cultural interpretation that fell below our established standards for in-depth tours. We have initiated a comprehensive guide retraining program focused on cultural storytelling and itinerary design to prevent recurrence. Per Clause X of our Service Agreement regarding guide responsibilities, while the service lacked expected depth, we fulfilled fundamental obligations including basic navigation assistance, language support, and itinerary coordination. Therefore, we regret that a refund cannot be granted under our terms. To demonstrate our commitment to your satisfaction, we would like to offer: 1. A 20 USD exclusive discount coupon (valid for 2 years) 2. Priority booking with our gold-certified tour guides for future itineraries 3. VIP access to customize your next cultural journey Should you have specific suggestions, please contact our Customer Director TING XU directly at txub731@gmail.com. Your feedback is invaluable to our improvement, and we hope to have the opportunity to deliver the culturally enriching experience you deserve. Wishing you safe and enriching travels, Bruce Chen
Really enjoyed the day with Andie (your guide) who brought me to the most amazing tea houses. A real authentic Chengdu experience
Excellent tour with guide Andie. Thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour through the parks and streets of Chengdu. The narrow and wide alley area was very entertaining. The authentic tea tasting a must. Also local food tasting interesting
Dear Hillary, thanks for your review. We are very glad that you enjoyed the walking tour with us, hope to see you next time in Chengdu
I had a fantastic morning out with Bruce. I would highly recommend this trip as a great way of seeing Chengdu. I definitely got more out of my visit from doing this tour. Bruce was very knowledgeable and we had a very chilled morning walking around the parks and sipping tea. We stopped off for noodles on the way to the Peoples Park which were very tasty and clearly a popular place with the locals. If your heading to Chengdu book this tour!!
Dear Sarah, thanks for your great review, we also had a great time with you in Chengdu, look forward to meeting you in Chengdu again in the future. All the best Bruce
This was a great way to see some of the main sights of Chengdu (Qingyang Gong, Cultural Park, People's Park, Wide and Narrow Alley), try lots of tea, and eat some great snacks (I'm still dreaming about that guo kui we ate). Greenie was our guide and had a level of enthusiasm I didn't think was possible. Definitely recommended :)
I brought friends from Houston, Texas to Chengdu during X'mas, Bruce and his team were recommended by my friend as a outstanding operator so we contact him and the booking procedure went smoothly. When arrived, we were truly impressed by not only his knowledge of this area but also his great understanding of Chinese culture. Moreover his way dealing his guests made both my friends and I really enjoyable. We then booked the Panda tour with him and it was a great fun.
Bruce Chen is a Chengdu expert. I came to Chengdu one year ago and made a group of close friends here. Many of them have already lived in Chengdu for serveral decades, but as a tourism star city with delicious food and profound culture, even local friends don't know clearly about every interesting streets, teahouses, bars, hotels. Bruce Chen has all information we need, and planed the routes of tours for Chinese opera, tea culture, party, hiking, dinner...everything...really excellent!
