There are four main activities during this day of adventure: a canopy (zip line) tour and rappelling through the Rio Blanco Canyon, a tubing adventure on the Rio Negro River with class III rapids, a horseback riding adventure, and relaxing with volcano-heated thermal waters, steam, and mud baths. The package also includes a delicious lunch at the Restaurant. This is an action-packed day! Your guide provides instruction for all the activities, ensures your safety, and makes sure you have a great time! The adventures are a blast, and the views of the river, canyons, and wildlife are unbeatable. Join us for an amazing day experiencing all the best that Costa Rica has to offer. You don’t want to miss it! Please take into consideration that for the tubing tour, the required minimum age is 8 years old, and must be at least 1,40 cm to be able to take the tour.

Itinerary
The best all day adventure combo on Rincon de La Vieja Volcano National Park that includes Ziplining, Horseback Riding, River Tubing, full traditional lunch, Hot Springs, and Volcanic Mud Bath. Ziplining First! you will get strapped in your harness and start the ziplining course through the canopy and canyons! The course takes you into a steep canyon over a turbulent river, where you will zipline, rappel and rock climb, cross hanging bridges and ride Tarzan swings. You will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a climbing wall, a hanging bridge, “via ferrata” (cable) rappel, and a tarzan swing! Horseback Riding After ziplining, you will return to the tour base to prepare for a 45-minute horseback ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.
River Tubing - You will have the time of your life bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting “tube” for over 5 kilometers. Lunch includes many choices of entrees and sides, dessert bar, fresh juice, coffee and tea. All dietary resctrictions can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking if required.
Hot Springs & Volcanic Mud Bath. After lunch you will continue to the Hot Springs. Surrounded by tropical dry forest, the Río Negro (Black River) Hot Springs feature ten pools with thermal waters heated naturally by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.The soothing mineral waters are crystal clear and all natural, and the river flows through the pools constantly refilling them with water. Relax and enjoy luxuriating in our healing waters. You can also try our volcanic mud “bath”, where you smooth volcanic clay mud all over yourself like a spa “masque,” then after it dries, wash it off with a cool river water shower. The hot springs water will feel great afterwards!

The tour was amazing, we had a wonderful day at the Acienda Guachipilin in Rincon de la vieja. Our driver Oscar was great guide, polite, and patient, not rushing you at all.
Greivin was an amazing driver very informative and helpful. The trip was exciting horses, canyoning, and tubing. We are divided on which we liked the best.

Absolutely and will definitely book for this package again. Horse back riding and river tube were the best my cousin and I have done. Unfortunately, I had an awful migraine and wasn't able to continue the ziplining, mud bath, and hot springs. I do plan on returning to Costa Rica again to finish what I started. The staff were very generous, caring especially when I was sick, and fun. Truly appreciate the warm welcoming.
